While talking to Avatara she notices a pidgeon (apparently carrying a message) at one of the tavern's windows, opens the window and takes the message. "... almost ready to depart ... homeland ... Ah, very interesting". She reads the message out loudly, then adds silently "Just what I was waiting for, I think I'd better get moving, then. Bye, Avatara" After that, she picks up her pack, and leaves the tavern.

*Five beefy men walk in, put theKestrel on the floor, and leave. Avatara moves his chair over, and him and Talos start up a friendly game of cards-on the only playable surface not being used, theKestrel's back. (If you think this is sick, you have problems. No I'm not implying anything)
Talos's supply dwindles rapidly...but Tyrael has him drunk enough that Tyrael wins all of Talos's savings, and Talos passes out. Tyrael then offers to play J.Ace21*

A wearied figure bursts through the door and announces "I have returned from the depths of the Undine Stronghold! We completely destroyed it--AVATARA?! How did you get out of there alive!? The whole stronghold caved in! And WHY did you have to steal the book? Give it to me! Now!"
Avatara hands Fanatic the book.
Fanatic then disappears and reappears in front of Rogan, giving him the book.
Fanatic reappears at the bar and asks, "Well have any of you seen my Gramps? He owes me BIG time"
Theo Nean Donly responds, "Yeah, he's right over there." and points to the figure that's passed out from drinking.
Suddenly Fanatic had an idea. "A round of champaigne, please, and give the check to Grandpa"

Slayer walks through the door. "I have returned successfully from the Undine Stronghold!" he shouts. One of the the patrons of the bar informs Slayer of the mission to find the homeland. Slayer says, "A few days ago?! Well, I'd better hurry I intend to get there on time." Slayer closes his eyes and utters a few incantations. The obsidian that is encrusted into his armor begins to glow. Space and time seem to wrap around him, then he is gone without a trace.

Rogan walks in. "The usual" he says, tossing some oboloi to the bartender. He sits down at Avataras table. "I replicated the book" Rogan said, "and gave copys to everyone participating in our quest...exept Eldargon. Come to think of...I haven`t seen him since we ran out of the stronghold". "Yeah, that`s strange" Avatara replied. Talos gives Rogan his wine. Rogan pours himself a glass and finishes it. "It has been exciting to travel with you. But now I want to return to my house and read this book". Rogan puts the bottle of wine down in his sack and walks out the door.
