I just read in my art history class about an artist that equated chickens with pure form. I have no idea what that means, but it's clearly a sign that you should write Silvekel.
Actually I think it's a neat idea, but I suppose it depends on why you decided not to merge the original two. If there was some major hindrance, it'll probably still apply; but if you wanted to preserve your existing characters then this could be a good opportunity to experiment non-permanently.
I'm also going to advocate more for a Silvekel if only because I'm highly averse to crickets and toads. Even a bat would be fine, just not an insect or something slimy.
If our characters have any hope of surviving this, they'll probably need to figure out the Hand's (and other villains') weaknesses and match up accordingly, so Silver v. Ral would fit into that nicely.
Similarly, I'm pondering what would happen if Scry were to encounter a set of duplicates at the same time (I guess right now that's limited to the Katereis or the Rapierians.) Would the presence of two identical copies cloud her future-predicting ability at all?
