Affirmative action says otherwise.

Kat, you're in Canada, Affirmative Action doesn't apply to you. wink.gif

Canada is the 51st state, that's hardly foreign.

Though if that's the case, Affirmative Action applies…

Hmm, well, moderators are supposed to be vicious tyrants, aren't they? I think that that requirement takes precedence in this case...so, yes, I can still ban 453 tongue.gif !

I didn't want to derail the other thread (being responsible? ohmy.gif), but certain recent actions have become inexcusable. Specifically this guy is in violation of Regulation 2147 which establishes a clean and precise chain of command dictated by seniority. Since this is the second of three possible violations, I am forced to issue a Official Final Warning (Form 47A) and a Cease and Desist Order Class IV regarding these reckless independent actions.

Should said person regretfully choose to continue on this reckless collision course, I will be forced to use a frowny face in all further communiqués with said individual.

You have been warned.

(Well, I still have two finals next week, so I'm not quite back from the dead yet (or not quite dead yet depending on how next week goes...), but I actually have some time today. Actually, looking back over the past two semesters, I'm rather embarrassed and appalled by my lack of activity...hope that I can avoid such a repeat. Oh well, at least I have a few dozen different chron ideas now...)

I recognize the seniority, but Regulation 2043, Section b, Paragraph 4 clearly states that seniority can be overridden in the performance of an act that is cruel or inconvenient—regulations also clearly mandate that moderators should perform such actions as a prerequisite to obtaining said station.

Also don't regulations require that moderators plot against one another and everyone else?

Erm, not that I'm in the midst of planning an elaborate coup attempt or anything like that! Perish the thought!

You stated it yourself. Regulation 2043 was drafted before 2147 amended it, removing such extraneous clauses. I expected you to acquaint yourself with the entire guidebook fully before you put on your uniform. Apparently, you have disappointed me.

Later regulations in the guidebook don't automatically amend earlier ones. There's an amendments section for that, if I recall correctly.

In any case, there are about a dozen different forms that you have to file and prepare before you can file a Form 47A tongue.gif .

I think you underestimate my motivation.

The only problem is, Avatara, according to Ambrosia Forum Moderation Manual, Section VII, Subsection 4, under the heading, "Motivation and how it relates to moderators," you forgot that it explicitly states that motivation is forbidden. Taboo. Outlawed. Is it crystal-clear yet? And all those forms that have to be filled out have to be in triplicate, with at least four ranking moderators concurring with your accusation.

That section pertains to acts of good will. Motivation is permitted (and actually encouraged) when combined with ambition and deceit.

Also, the forms were filled out and approved weeks ago. Not sure why you keep bringing that up.
