The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil TS Discussion Topic

My post (which I hope to put up soon) will probably be a bit short.
EDIT:
By the way, my idea is that the book contains a guide which leads them from one landmark to the next, until they exit the forest. I'm afraid it was the best that I could come up with. I suppose someone could just cast some kind of spell...if no one replies soon, I'll probably be forced to edit that to be the case.

By the way, I don't really expect to be able to post again before late this Thursday (finals and such this week).
EDIT:
I'm going to go ahead and move them past the Tree. I hope no one minds my solution. It just seemed to me that a necromancer might be well-suited to dealing with a tree of death.

I've missed a lot so I'm pretty lost as to where we all are at the moment.
I'll probably end up reading up from where I left off, but it would be considerably more convenient if someone could sum up for me what all I missed? *pitiful face*

Well I'm glad I waited to post, it was the right timing now. I think this is it a few more post from everyone and it'll be happy trails! I think everyone knows what I'm inplying towards the end of my post, but if you don't, wing it. I'm sure only good can follow. (or evil)

Anyway, as for what would happen next, I figured that the door's opened (with help of the box), and the party rushes in to find Alterius standing right in front of the Tree.
Then things get interesting...

Glad to see you back, Muse.
I'm probably going to go ahead and post, although I don't know how long it will be (I'm rather tired at the moment).
EDIT:
I'm adding a Guardian by the way. I'm also keeping the effects of the fruit ambiguous for the moment.

No, I'm being serious here. It would make a very nice twist ending. If you don't think this quite fits, let me know what you'd prefer the apples to do.
P.S: The geosearch only found Alterius because he's a magic-user and really close by. It's more like the 'Where is (so-and-so)' feature in the actual game.

SIB: Sounds fine, assuming that magic users are able to escape detection if they wish (and have the skill) .

P.S: Dibs on revealing what the Tree is actually good for.

If you want, Wizard, feel free to God-Mode my character and give Altérius a beating. After being so brutalized in the TS's starter post, I'm sure Shanadar is just itching to give the once-dead renegade a piece of his mind (and perhaps the business end of a big stick).

As for what the Tree does, establishing that was, I think, part of the goal of this TS, but, personally, I'm almost inclined to want to leave it ambiguous for now. As for myself, I'd prefer that it at least be something serious.
