To change "protection spell" to "shield" would probably be the easiest fix. Thanks! ^_^

I think that Rapierian might bring back the idea of heading their enemies off, while Silver (and perhaps Yomu) shadow their enemies directly.
EDIT:
I think the group will try to head Wizard's kidnappers off. I suggest that they reach a point where they can prepare a trap and spring it when their adversaries arrive. Personally, I think that we might want to rescue Wizard soon.
Does the proposed idea sound all right to everyone?

I got Yomu's flying machine idea from images like this. You can probally find better pictures online somewhere. Oh and Yomu's (now Muse's) spear has an eclectrical current running through it.

That's what I'm hoping for. Also I killed off the hired ruffians (hired by the main villain), with a lil' help from a wyvern. All that's left now is the main villiain and the two blue armoured knights accomanying him on his way down the mountain side (on horse back).
This ambush buisness might work out. Maybe Wizard should be retreived but the enemies won't be killed? (Hit and run kinda thing.) This might end leading to Wizards recovery and further info on the Tree. Something to ponder.
On a related note: What's with the lack of activity? It seems that everyone just disapeared. Maybe cause it's mid-term season... (Oh joy!)

As for the lack of activity, I have tests this week, and I suspect that at least a few people are waiting on Wizard...

writing to let you know I may be absent for some time
my computer has been slowly but surely crapping out on me. Several functions have been going down one by one and now finally my internet has become a victim
my firefox doesn't seem to want to work anymore...and thats pretty much the web browser I use. AOL doesn't work either.
I do have internet explorer but it hasn't been all too reliable. It is the source of my endless popups problem I've been facing for months, it freezes my computer and it unexpectedly quits at random. [I actually tried writing this message twice and both times the window closed all of a sudden before I could finish it -.-"]
in short...my computer has been reduced to a piece of crap and I'll more than likely be gone for a time whilst looking for someone to give me some help with it
I'll be back though....I'll be back
until then...
this will be fun....I've got 3 research papers due this month!
time to hit the school library computers
*peace*

After the fall of the Iron Golem the group hammered on with their new allie (Muse) and their new prisoner (the iron golem operator). They came up to a cabin which turned out to be a trap, luckily they made it out alive and deiced to make camp. After the prisoner had come (he was unconscious) the group's inerigators tryed to get some info out of him, however just as he was about to talk a strange magic appeared around his throat and then choked him to death. Having heard the words, "Tree of life" from the dieing captive the group continued on to a mountain pass. Up ahead the main villian dismissed the ruffians he had hired and joined his new esscorts (two heavily armour knights) and started heading off the mountain. The ruffians were told to, "wait for their reward" but what they got from their waiting was a Wyvern instead. As the group continued they came up to the area where the ruffians met their demise. After a battle and defeat of the Wyvern the group has decided to try and ambush their enemies because: 1. Enemy doesn't even know if they're alive. 2. Even though the enemy has a speed advantage over the group, our group is able to stay off the main road and take a shortcut to intercept the enemy party.
Now the group begins to approah their second encounter with this mysterious man who is after some great thing that Wizard knows of.
Will our heros stop him in his tracks?! Will Wizard ever be rescued?! Will muse discover her true purpose in Cythera?! Will Bly rent a condo on the east side with a good ocean view?! What is really going on in Rapierian's head?! Will Yomu realize he has Marry Poppins bag?! Will Silver eat an apple from the tree of life and grow to be 8ft tall?! Will I make an A on an upcoming test?! Will dancing, singing, and color changing start an artistic revolution in Cythera?! How does a species develop independent thought?! If I forgot some one will they be angry?! Will reading lots of bold print give you a headache?! !?sdrawkcab ti gnidaer tuoba woH Will I ever stop?!

Have I answered my own question?!

Actually, I think that you might have misunderstood my post a bit.
The enemy is not slowed down by having horses: the trails are good enough that horses give them a considerable speed advantage over their pursuers. As far as I know, every mountain has only so many paths that will take one over it. Wizard's kidnappers are taking one path, and the group has been following them. However, Rapierian knows of another trail that intersects this one further on. Use of this other trail has enabled the group to get ahead of Wizard's kidnappers and to prepare an ambush for them.
Oh, and don't worry, Two Jacks: if anyone complains of a headache, I can always just ban you .
(Yes, I am just kidding.)

By the way, I know that a lot of people are waiting for me to post something so that we can do the rescue, but I just haven't been very able to the past couple of days. I hope to be able to put something up within the next day or two.

This chain of events is unfortunate: I do not believe that we can afford to wait a long time for him to post. To do so might endanger this TS.
Hmm, I don't think that I will post tonight; I will speak with Wizard and work out something for tomorrow. I think that Wizard still wants to be involved in the rescue of his character but that everything else is fair game.
Time for roll call! Who's still here?

It's great that Yomu got his pouch back, yet for some reason hasn't checked it for the silver box (need to edit that in next post...). He'll be surprised to find that the enemy has taken it and also to realize that the box is related to the tree. Now only one person can open the box but no one knows who it is! I wonder if Wizard is psychic, and maybe knows who it is?
The upcoming encounter may give the team to test their strength against their foe but if his power is to overwhelming a retreat may be in order. And if Wizard is an important component of the missing peice the enemy would be quite mad to lose him.
Hmm... Hmm...

Unfortunately, Wizard is ill and can't post right now. The strategy for the moment is that Wizard will have one or two placeholders posts which he will edit later. One of these has already been posted.
The rest of us will meanwhile proceed with the rescue.
Wizard will be saved, but the villain will escape.
After the rescue, another placeholder post might be made for Wizard. It is possible that to simplify matters Wizard's character will be unconscious until Wizard can post again.
The group will proceed toward the Tree of Life.
Does this sound okay to everyone?
I shall begin the rescue now. I'm not certain how to begin the ambush, so I left that part open.
Please, everyone come back! Do not let this TS die!

Anyway, I've put in my contribution to the battle, and even managed to slip in a reverse-LotR-reference in humor to boot! I've been wanting to say that to Wizard for ages.

On the plus side, just lying here, I feel more free to write a Cythera post than I do when I have a bunch of responsibilities to fulfill. Maybe tomorrow I will. The problem is that, again just lying here, I feel awfully tempted to go to sleep and not write a Cythera post. . .
Oh well, we'll see. And Visitor, I thought it was a very nice LotR reference; now I'm wondering if there is some way for Wizard to say that to somebody.

I'd be willing to take up on that game of chess sometime, by the way.
Well, I'm glad to see that so many people are alive and active .
