There are many ways to throw a character in: have them fall out of the sky on the group, stumble out of a portal, appear in the woods (or in the road, I think that's what Selax did), etc.

Hmm, I think that I might have to go ahead and finish up the fight scene...I'm afraid that I might end up doing it in some trite manner.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve my post (after I make it—I might leave the end open but I'm not sure), please let me know.

I wouldn't ordinarily double post, but we appear to have two conflicting posts in the TS (at least at the time that I am writing this post, although I think Two Jacks may be editing his): Two Jacks and SoItBegins.

One thing that I would note is that Two Jacks stated in his earlier post that someone was inside the golem; hence, it would make sense for the group to proceed to the stream and to capture that someone.

Perhaps, a compromise could be reached? If everyone was fine with doing so, would a simple vote might do? Suggestions?

(Note: unless a decision or compromise can be reached quickly, it could hamper the TS's progress somewhat.)

Ok thank you Selax for reminding me of that. Ideas:

I edit in that the man is taken along with us 'cause he's knocked out, or I edit in someone elses post interigating him (since Yomu isn't much of an interigator, I was think Raperian). Also, SIB is editing his post to match mine 9Sorry for the inconvenience) :P

What do you guys think?

I figured that getting it in the stream would only hamper the golem. Rapierian would cast a decay spell to make the golem rust, thereby making it vunerable (and the controller inside capturable). Then the remaining golems could be destroyed, with the Iron Golem out of comission.

P.S: I already edited my post to work with Yomu's.

P.P.S: The controller is captured and taken with the company. How's that?

I Have to edit my post so that the stream isn't a river and that the operator is captured, however that doesn't solve all the problems. Because the interigation of the operator is needed the second half of my post is turned into junk. The operator could be dragged by his ankles until he wakes and I asumed the enforcer would wake and hurry to the others although this doesn't work since Raperian wants to see a reaction. Basicly I need Selax to give me his post so I can put it in quote in my post allowing me to keep my post by having it follow his. If this is to much then I will just save my psost for another time... (Though it would make me sad.) *Pupppy dog eyes* :P

Also if there are other ways that could work.

I don't think that the operator needs to be captured in your post, unless you'd prefer it that way. Yomu and Bly are both distracted by Muse, while the others have gone after the golem. I think that I could deal with the operator in my post and just assume that it is going on while your characters are up at the cabin with Muse; I think that Shandar is best left to ~vIsitor~.

I edited my post. I took out everything but the first couple sentences, because Muse doesn't get knocked out and a conversation is going on which was the main basis of my post. There needs to be a Q and A qith Muse's character before the story can really continue.
Hm guess I'll have to find a different way to work Yomu in...

EDIT: Oh yeah, I was intending that after Muse was knocked out there was a great time passage, meaning that the story went:Muse knocked out- Muse awake with interigation already have happened leading to the information on the cabin location. I guess I wasn't clear on where I wanted the story to go. My bad.

Once all this Rapierian-throwing-a-rock-at-Shanadar business is dealt with, I think the Enforcer might want to interrogate out golem-making mage-adept prisoner. :P

Oh, and Selax, don't feel to bad that my character doesn't consider Rapierian his greatest foe; The one who is is also of your creation: the Nexus Lord, the only assassin to get past Shanadar in years (and he made a double-adventurer kill at that).

I'm uncertain what to do with the prisoner at the moment. It would probably be best to interrogate him at once but that might slow the TS up more. Perhaps, he could start to talk when Altérius kills him somehow? For the moment, I'd like the group to move on, but it wouldn't seem to make sense to do so without having interrogated the prisoner first.

Hmm, I'll assume that he's too near death (having almost drowned) and injured (making him still unconscious) to deal with at the moment. Does that seem reasonable for now?


~vIsitor~, I don't feel bad, although Rapierian would probably be highly annoyed if he knew that :P .


On another note, I have noticed various small contradiction among the last few posts; however, they are not really serious and, I think, may be ignored. I will probably move the group along a bit in my post if no one objects.


EDIT:
I suggest we get the group moving as soon as possible. I might move it along a bit, but I'm worried that would deprive people of a chance to reply to Muse. I guess people could post using flashbacks? Does anyone have a recommendation?

Sorry I didn't move it far...
I think it would be good if the prisoner could be questioned now, but I don't feel prepared to do that, for one thing, I think that Shanadar would like to have a hand in it, & I don't feel comfortable using most of the characters that aren't mine.

Not wanting to post to much I've edited my last post. It now has a hefty dream sequence, I'll leave it to your imagination (for now) to decide what happened to Yomu when he put on his hat, and yes the box on the pedistol is the one Yomu currently doesn't have (thanks to a certain cheif ruffian...).

I encourage everyone to participate—remember, the plot is open to anyone :P (as long as it stays focused on the Tree of Life and I think that Wizard wants to deal with his character).


EDIT:
The cottage mentioned in my post is the one that Wizard mentioned in his earlier post (not the one where they stopped after fighting the golem). It is most likely booby-trapped, but I think it best if that is dealt with in one or two posts to avoid stalling the TS further.

I also think that we need to find a way to relate this more closely to the Tree of Life. Unless I'm forgetting something, I don't think the group yet knows that Wizard's kidnapping is connected.


EDIT 2:
Never mind, I found that Alaric mentioned the Tree to Bly, although I don't know if it's been mentioned to anyone else (it could have been mentioned in the notes that Alaric sent?). I also stated that Rapierian had some information on it...I'll probably work that subplot in in a few posts (after the cottage is dealt with).

I don't know how we want this to unfold, since the trab set on he cottage will vaporize everyone within the set radius once it's sprung. We could send our prisoner in since he doesn't want to talk (but we'd be killed in the process, so only option I see is disableing it.

Any members of the bomb squad in the house?

EDIT: We also have to count in the fact that no one knows about the traps exsitence ,say except for the prisoner, and he wouldn't want us to spring the trap if he would killed in the process. Though if some one senses it that wouldn't be much fun either.

All right, I've posted. I agree that it wouldn't have been as much fun to disarm it, so I figured we could set it off and block it. :P

There are currently no more booby-traps awaiting the group, Altérius believes (at least for the moment) that they are dead, and Shanadar and/or Rapierian are preparing to interrogate the mage they captured.

I'm leaving the interrogation up to anyone who wants to do, though. It's what's going to get the group looking for the Tree of Life, because the guy is going to tell them something about it. I leave it up to you to decide what or how much.

How's my rendition of the interrogation? ^_^ I left it somewhat open so that if someone wants to extend it, that will be fine, & if the next poster wants to run on with the story, that should work fine too!

I'm little disappointed that Rapierian didn't get to say anything, but, since that's not really important, I'm fine with it :P .


I would like to compliment everyone: I thought that the interrogation was very well done.


By the way, I didn't have Rapierian say much about the Tree because I'm not certain how much he should know or what the Tree does.

I keep forgetting to mention something somewhat important >.<

I usually don't get a chance to be online Saturdays and Sundays...therefore I can't post on those days

However, now I see the advantage of the character control thing you guys have going here that I haven't seen anywhere else before. It certainly helps move the story along without having to wait for someone. [an annoyance I've experienced many a time...it usually ends up killing the RP]


I just made a new post hinting that Muse knows a little something about the Tree *shrug* It was just a thought, I can get rid of it if you don't think it's suiting for the RP. I just figured I'd try to find some use or reason for her being there.

If you choose to keep it, I'd like to talk to someone about the Tree here before I have my character disclose any information she knows on it seeing as I have no idea what your ideas on the Tree are.
