You all thought life would just go on "normally" in Trash Talk, same old faces, same old forums. It could never end...could it?

It just might.

Yes, that's right - drastic changes will be knocking on your doorstep very soon. (write very in Katakana for extra emphasis if you choose)

So, what does that mean for you? Are you going to lose your precious post counts, your beloved karma, your memories of this place? I can't say (and even if I did know I still couldn't say), but now is still the time to make confessions, drink vodka, sacrifice virgins, and pray to the ASW deity for some last miniscule chance to save your puny souls from eternal damnation.

Then, buckle up (hey, its the law), sit back, and enter into the next dimension as ASW's boards shift into a whole new world. Handrails are provided for your convenience, and barf bags are available in the corner.

Note: Ambrosia Software does not condone studying physics while posting. It can only lead to bad grades, hysteria, physical torment, mental anguish, and mass confusion.

Well, after all the trouble I went to buying the hallucinogens that caused SA to give me karma, I'll just have to go and get more. All the beautiful old locked topics like eRP that I can reminisce on will also be gone. Such a tragedy.

Perhaps some will stay. There is a script to transfer some BB info, but details aren't disclosed on exactly what (probably account names, but karma, posts? old topics are probably). Its also somewhat untested yet, but you'll know soon enough...

I've heard of what's happening. Is there a specific date/general date for this? I'd like to brace before it hapens.

Will all the topics be brought over?
Will only the topics on this page be brought over?
IS THE WORLD THAT I KNOW AND TRUST ABOUT TO END!?!?!
EDIT: Will the URL change?

If user names aren't moved over, I can see some major problems with name pilfering.

I'd also be willing to bet that a number of people will decide, for whatever reason, to change their usernames when the great switch occurs, which will create a rather confusing situation in the "New World."

I would think established members would keep there names; only newbs would change, so it all works out in the end.

to remember how.

There is an art to haiku.

Sadly, it is an art all too few truly understand.

Haikus are intended to be about nature.
