"An orc?"asked Grapper as he entered the room.

"They`re everywhere these days" Rogan said. He turned to the clones and said: "What the...?"

The clones seemed to be mirroring every move they made. Fanatic pulled his sword out. the clone pulled his sword out. after expirementing with the clones, the adventurers moved on through the clone chamber, and towards a sense of strong evil.

They walked out of the clone corridor, past the grotesque faces, and into the hallway again. The stairway was still there, with its curiously easy-to-climb steps running up and its nearly-steps-but-not-quite steps going back down. The group took one look at each other, and began to go up the stairs. Flanking the stairs were strange portraits. They were beautifully painted, but the person in each one moved in suffering ways, letting out silent screams. In one portrait, Slayer was screaming at the top of his lungs. The stairs continued upwards, and at last they came to the top floor.

The room was extraordinarily well decorated: tasteful portraits of Cytherian heros and Alaric graced the walls, and they stood comfortably still. A beautiful, intricately designed rug covered most of a fine wooden floor. The walls were made of well-carved limestone. Flanking the hallway were wide stone arches, each with a door under it. At the end of the hallway, was a massive tapestry. It was Slayer. It showed him in the tavern, reading Tavara's journal. Out of the tapestry came the gentle verse of the spell, and a strange image appeared as an overlay on the tapestry. It showed two Slayers, presumably the real one and a clone, fighting. A door creaked.

... Slayers clone.

Everything got very silent. Slayer`s clone said nothing, he just stood there, silent as a stone. Suddenly, two more doors opened behind them and two more Slayers entered the room...

The two groups stared at each other for a few seconds.

"Kato," the original clone of Slayer spoke, calmly. Instantly, the grotesque faces high up on the walls of the chamber fluttered down as bats. As they came near the ground, the bats expanded into full-sized, fully-armored knights.

The group charged and Slayer cut into one of the nights where he had no armor and it turned into dust.Everyone else cut in to Slayers clones and loud pops where heard.Slayers clones poped like ballons.Then they all finished off the nights. Avatara said"They are all phoneys."

The original clone of Slayer raised his hand, and Avatara was thrown into the wall. "I``m not fake...and soon you shall all feel my anger!" the clone yelled.

Slayer stepped forward to face his clone. "I created you, and I shall destroy you," he shouted. Slayer charged at the clone. He tried to strike with his sword, but the blow was deflected by the duplicate's shield. Slayer swung again, this time connecting with the clone's body. He struck with such force that he broke through the armor. Slayer yelled out in pain as he drove his sword into the clone, grasping the side of his chest. "Fool!" shouted the clone, "You cannot kill me without killing yourself!"

"We need to merge Slayer and the clone together in some way!" said Rogan.
Avatara got up from the floor and answered: "Yes, I think it is a spell for that operation...but it`s in the book."

The clone could only kill Slayer if he killed himself; Slayer could only kill the clone if he killed himself. The book was hidden away somewhere in the private quarters of the clone.

The clone backed away towards the door, blocking it.

"My mission is to revive Tavara, as stated in the book. I cannot revive Tavara if I am combined with my original. I have waited for you to come here, as I do need my clone to revive Tavara."

Rogan thought: "We need that book!" Suddenly, he grabbed a nearby piece of wood and hit Slayer in the back of the head, knocking him unconscious...

The clone grabbed the back of his head as he fell to the ground.

*Avatara, still standing in the corner, wondered if it would be easier to just kill Slayer so his clone dies, then resurrect Slayer as Avatara was more comfortable with healing magic than arcane magic.*

Avatara then realizes that if Slayer were killed then resurrected, his clone would be resurrected too.

As Slayer and Slayer's clone grappled at each other, Fanatic and Talos glanced at each other. In swift moves, they both glided into the chamber from which the clone came.

Those clones were produced forcibly, not voluntarily, like this one. Slayer put a piece of himself into making this clone.

Rogan gets up and casts death strike on Slayers clone. Slayer and his clone fall to the ground. Then, he resurects Slayer and both Slayers get up. Then, realizing his mistake casts death strike on the clone again. "Before we resurect them again we need to think about what to do."says Rogan.

After about 30 minutes Grapper says "Charm!"

Talos asks "What do you mean?."

Grapper replies "Charm! The spell charm!"

"Good idea, Grapper!" Rogan said, "let`s hope the clone is not immune to it or something. If that does not work, we could kill the clone, get the book, remove the clone with a spell and then resurrect Slayer!"

Rogan ran into the next room and grabbed Tavara's book. Since he was already somewhat familiar with the book, he was able to quickly locate the spell to reverse the cloning process. "The spell to reverse the cloning can only be successfully be cast by the original," Rogan announced as he read the entry. Talos said, "We'll need to subdue the clone somehow while Slayer casts the spell. How long does it take to cast that spell?" Rogan replied, "It looks like it should take a couple hours! It will be difficult to contain Slayer's clone for that long." Grapper suggested, "We could use the spell 'Charm' to keep the clone under control." "No, no," said Avatara, "If we did that, the original Slayer would become hostile towards us. He wouldn't cast the reversal spell in that condition." "We're going to have to figure something out," responded Rogan.

Rogan snapped his fingers and said: "We could tie him up. That wouldnt hurt Slayer. And if it should affect Slayer, like rendering his hands useless or something, one of us could hold the book for him." Everyone agreed, but it seemed like no one paid any attention to Slayer`s clone...
