(continued from part ten)
Darkness comes but slowly fades. Hector and Grapper find themselves lying inside a strange building. The floor is covered with thousands of pieces of orange yarn, and the wall with glossy, vertical pieces of wood. On one side of the room sits a box with glowing, moving pictures.
Hector says, "Grapper, this place is very strange to me. I do not know where we have arrived this time."
"Wait," Grapper says, "I think the man in the box of light is trying to tell us something."
The man in the box says, "CALL NOW, and we'll send you, not one, not two, but THREE plot devices, for the LOW, LOW PRICE of $19.99."
Grapper says, "I think I understand. Bellerophon once told me of a thing called 'television.' I did not believe it could exist, but this device is very much like his description of it."
The man in the box says, "BUT THAT'S NOT ALL—"
"Look!" Hector says. "This painting on the table—"
Grapper says, "Yes it is very lifelike."
"No, not that. It is Bellerophon!"
"So then we have travelled to his house," Grapper says. "But where is he?"
"We had better look outside."
Box-man says, "30 DAYS OR YOUR MONEY BACK!"
It is dark outside but suddenly there is light and movement from above. The light falls on Grapper and Hector. Hector says, "Grapper, is that a 'television' too?"
Grapper says, "I do not think so Hector. I think that it is something very different." At that moment, Hector and Grapper begin to rise up the beam of light into a metallic saucer in the sky.
