Grapper walks quietly through the woods looking for ruffians to kill so he can get more training. Suddenly he hears a clang of swords and runs over to see what it is. He sees 6 ruffians fighting and he hides behind the tree. The ruffians had just killed a swordsman and were fighting over his weapons. Grapper runs to fight them and in seconds they are all lifeless. Then he casts resurrect on the swordsman and quickly darts away to find more ruffians to slay. After terminating 23 more gangs of ruffians the sky darkens and Grapper heads home. When he gets there he finds a warrior. The warrior says, "I am Hector. You are needed at Kosha. That is, if you are Grapper." Grapper says, "Yes, I am Grapper. The Comana boys have escaped and we need your help to find them." Grapper says, "I have not seen you for a long time. I thought you worked in Land King Hall." Hector answers, "Yes, but I am the one of the fastest travelers in Cythera so Kosha asked me to find you. Even now you are needed. We best get started. We are not even in Cythera." Grapper packs and they start off.

This one doesn't seem quite as good as the rest of the chronicles on our board. Maybe we can use it if we run out of chronicles, but I doubt it.

I'm still thinking that this one isn't quite up to snuff. If it ever gets posted, I don't think it deserves a karma point.

Eh...well, I let you moderate the chronicles, so its your judgement. You seem to be having so much fun at it. ;)

Anyway, I think you're right. It seems way too short and "not quite there" yet.

I STILL don't think this chronicle is very good. I wonder if I should delete it, or save it as an example of the kind of crap that gets through when people don't post their good chronicles on regular basis.

It is as it was in the beginning, and as it forever shall be: a piece of crap.

So, is it a piece of crap? You've been very vague about what your opinion of it is... ;)

I really think this story is worthless.... if noone objects, I might just consign it to be deleted, it's merely cluttering up the list ( ;) ) and isn't really worth reading. Thoughts?

Garbage, though it may be, I like to keep it around for historical interest.

I say keep it, because I'm enjoying the 5-6 day delay in communication between the Chronicle moderators. ;)

Guess who...

So... we're going to release it than? I think the time is ripe...... ;)

Incidentally, we need a signature for this account... one without an 'EVula' link though, I'm sorry (;)), expressing the wholeness of us... what do you guys think we should have?

Yeah, Slayer, perhaps its time to release this chron. Cythera's chron suppliers have dwindled, we've gotten two in the last eight weeks.

That, and the other moderators are having way too much fun with this topic. ;)

Well, we all need a place where we can let our hair down... and besides, I don't see any users complaining in this forum.... do you? ;)
[Edit] Wow! Two hour turnover! We are getting stronger! ;)

The time has finally come. This chronicle has finally been released after more than two years of waiting.

Heh. A computer could do almost as good a job as that though - really. And the computer has better grammar, even if the plot is a little thin and the story is a tad shallow on character development.

Bryce's Computer's Chron:

The Winds were Raging and Funky, The Soils were Dry and Drizzling.

Pelops stood with Prusa preparing a Elven Longsword for use.
They felt that Demodocus, though owning a Elven Longsword as well, would be no match for them.
Demodocus though, had other plans, involving a Short Nose.

Demodocus was a Rodentine Person, Much Like Seqedher.
This sometimes made the Bridge of the nose of passerbys like a Humanoid Shoe,
But it was not a serious matter.

Demodocus and Hadrian then Crushed Prusa's Toe with a Vaccum Cleaner.
But Prusa Threw Demodocus.

Larisa and Asteropaeus then Damaged Magpie's Thigh with a Brass Kunckle.
And so on, until Briseis Squrited Borus.
Then Borus Repaired Briseis.
And while this happened, Prusa and Eurybates snuck in and Stunned them both.

Then Emesa Harvested Antiphus.
Borus and A Shapechanger then Harvested Antiphus's Lower Lip with a Underpants.
After That, Hector Bemused Borus.
Then Borus Cured Hector.

(The End)

What do you think of it's work?

My only gripe with that Bryce is all the unnecessary capitalization. But seriously, you should do a lot more of those (especially when there is a lack of general stories). We could all use something amusing on occasion. :)
