Confusing post. I'll just pretend I understand the backstory. The main question is - will this TS explain what happened after The Trial? I want more! It's going to take ages to heal Alaric though. Say, if I joined & healed Alaric in a single post, could we get back to the Avatara story? :x

Well, I have another post written, but I don't like most of it. So, I'll just post part of it for now and try to figure out how to improve the other part. Unfortunately, since it's still exposition, I'm having trouble writing Katerei's character.

I probably will, but it's hard to motivate oneself to sit down and write all of that, especially since I'm using other people's characters in various places. I guess, since Katerei is probably the only one around to care, I could just PM her the posts for her approval.

Well, I went ahead and posted again. I have a fair idea of what I plan to do with Beorn and Katerei, as well as a (very) rough idea of what I'm doing with alt-Rapierian. I might try to do more with Selax though.

Finally get to see the volcano escape and that was nice and frantic ^_^ I'm curious what was Rapierian's plan for the orb - was he going to neglect Athes' task, or did he know of a safer way to do it?
Totally wasn't expecting to see Scry again! Was that her name? I don't remember for sure, it's been years since anyone mentioned her @_@ It feels like the story is starting to come together!

Amazing imagery in this last post! ^_^ I pictured the enormous Seldane city in its glory, then the current ruined city. Beautiful! And creepy dormant Scylla @_@ Also never really considered how many Seldane there may have been in the past.
I wonder how Katerei and Beorn had enough air in that bubble for a several-hours journey?

, I had just finished re-reading LotR a few days before writing the post and was thus inspired. I also figured that I could get away with having a large area since it was underground and that such an area (along with the network of water-filled tunnels) might be useful in future TSs (although it should always remain a difficult location to access). My assumption is that Beorn and Katerei are in one of the undercities and that there are in fact several others (as hinted at by the road disappearing through the ruined arch).BreadWorldMercy453, on 02 September 2014 - 11:47 AM, said:

LotR inspired that? Maybe the series is more worthwhile than I realized. Out of curiosity, am I the only one who hasn't just finished reading a super-long fantasy series?
