P.S. I actually don't know what's going to happen next, this time.
P.P.S. Three story posts in one day? Is that a new record?

Edit: on re-skimming this topic, it seems I completely forgot about Orthrus' amulet. Updated that part of the supporting descriptions.

I'm beginning to wonder if you insert my name as a catch-all when you don't have a specific person to complain about.
I'm a little worried about alt-Wizard impersonating the judge, at least at this particular part of the story. Why would he pretend to be a person that is about to be assassinated? (I was under the impression management was at least on good enough terms not to scheme to kill each other.) Did someone forget to tell Iannah and co. that the judge was getting replaced? Could human resources not find Wizard in time to tell him about the murder plot because he was too busy playing with masks?
It's not impossible to work in, but I'm wary of anyone going ahead with it just yet, because at the moment it seems like a ginormous plot hole. Suggestions are welcome.

Could we say that Alt-Wizard has a part to play in the assassination? By impersonating the Judge he could distract the good guys and whatever friends/attendants the Judge might have, this way lannah and co. can catch their target alone.

The situation: Avatara and Rapierian are attempting to break into the judge's castle. Do you let them pass (and ostensibly join up temporarily to clear out threats from the castle) or do you bar their entry (which would likely lead to a fight)?
The details:
Avatara is a known criminal in Cythera who escaped from justice and has been somewhere on the wanted list for a couple months. This Avatara claims he's a duplicate of the other Avatara, and who knows what that means. However, many guards in Cythera haven't yet bought into the duplicate idea (and it sounds kind of crazy, if you think about it) - though the appearance of alternate Diomede may help lend credence to it.
Rapierian is generally unliked in Cythera, and a prime suspect of the events at Kosha (either working alone or with an accomplice). He's also a party killer. This Rapierian claims he is an alternate (the duplicate card again!), one that has an opposite personality. This Rapierian is claiming to be on the side of justice, completely revolted by the actions of the "vile necromancer", and also the guy who tipped off SKY about the assassination plot to begin with. However, he didn't do so directly, so SKY has no proof of this last claim at the moment (only Forlong's testimonial, should you find and ask him).
Katerei has entered a plea (under duress) to let them past without a fight.
The weapons they are carrying look like they may match with the weapon wounds on the two dead guys at Anisa's house.
What would Shanadar do next? Keep in mind that letting them go in could be construed as "aiding known criminals" by the Cademian guard, and any witnesses they encounter.

At this point a fight between SK/Y and AR would most likely result in Beorn's escape as well.
Yomu would most likely not want to waste time and therefore go with the suggestion above. If no one was willing to wait and tough it out with AR, he would resort to letting them pass or stay behind himself, figuring if the fight's gonna come it might as well be after they find out if the judge is all right.

Wasting time battling SKY is also not productive from the AR point of view, they'd most likely look for the first opening and then break past and leave behind their opponents. But at least then you'd have the excuse that you tried to stop them.
Ultimately its up to you guys what you pick, just letting you know what the likely response would be.

As far as Kosha goes, I think it should be under alt-Radik control by the end of day seven.
Through talks via IRC, it appears that Alt-Radik's loyalties would best fit with alt-Selax. Speaking of Selax, didn't you say you'd be online more this week?
Also: Rythan, I need to know what your plans for Jacob are, as alt-Radik should most likely discover him during the military invasion of Kosha.

Dark, Two Jacks: It'd be easiest to answer your questions over IRC. I'll try to be on tomorrow afternoon and evening. However, if you prefer, you could try sending me a PM.
