What was discussed in IRC, was that the crown was used to hold the elemental together, more or less solidifying it (technically speaking), such that when it fell into the lava, it would not merely turn to steam and be able to reform. Now that Wizard has posted like he mentioned he would, I'm going to go ahead and toss up that huge thing (with minor edits to accommodate for tying up loose ends).

Since the time cavern device is still intact, it was suggested that the party return to there and use it to return to the present (the Tavern) and end the story there. The only loose ends would've been the cloaked figure stalking Shanadar and Wizard's younger wizard.

I'm reserving the time travel and after the fight ending post to possibly Selax, or at least someone else. My only suggestion is that the cavern be flooded with lava after the party leaves, erasing the device from existence.

Err, kinda hid Wizards post with that monstrous block of text, so be sure to read it before you read mine!

Edit: Visitor, is that a dramatic enough entrance?

At the time of that post, the only loose ends that come to mind are:
-Chrysothemis going back home (was suggested that young wiz would escort her back)
-The party returning to the present

I won't be able to end this so elegantly, so have at it!

By the way, I had intended for the identity of Shanadar's pursuer to remain secret until the end of the TS. For those of you who know (or saw the references to it earlier in this topic), please keep it secret.

I think that I'll let it go for a couple of more days to give people a chance to make their own respective finishing posts before I make the ending post sometime in a couple of days or so.

My apologies. I was burdened with a new rush of school assignments.

That said, I will be able to finish the story this evening, so, if you do still want to make a finishing post, please do so within the next few hours.

Two Jacks, I'll probably just have them use the time cavern, if that is fine with everyone.

Wizard has informed me that he plans on posting tomorrow. Due to the late hour, I have decided to write up the finishing post and post it tomorrow evening.

The TS will end tomorrow evening.

With some help from Wizard, I have posted the ending post.

The TS is now officially (finally) over. I will leave it open for a couple of more days to give people a chance to edit out their OoC comments.

For those who might be curious, I didn't use Selax in this TS because I think he's still too overpowered. I introduced him with the thought that I might possibly find a use for him, but, if I didn't (and I didn't), I thought it'd be nice to have him in there as a behind the scenes character.

As I have mentioned elsewhere, there has been some discussion about next TS, but there are still some details to work out. Regrettably, I expect to be fairly busy until sometime in December. I wouldn't be surprised if the next TS did start in December, but I can't say for sure.

I think it could be quite fun for everyone, so I hope that you'll all decide to join and that some old regulars or new faces might show up as well

Thanks to everyone who removed their OoC comments. This time, I went ahead and removed the rest, but I'd rather not make a habit of doing that (it's more convenient if everyone edits out their own).

Well, he was placed in the care of Yomu, so it's all good.

As for cyrus, let's just say (because Yomu was there with him as well) that Yomu used an altered petrification potion on him: encased him in stone and once his will is strong enough, the shell will break releaseing him (a.k.a. when SIB decides what to do with him). Maybe he can be stored in the pantry at the tavern?
