I guess I don't really object to the section with the sword. I do, however, strenuously object to the introduction of Aron as a "god" and thus canonizing (perhaps anyway) his background and the existence of other "gods." (Perhaps, we could discuss this on irc or via PM?)

Don’t worry, I have absolutely no interest in playing “my pantheon is better than your pantheon”. I can’t make Aron “not” a God, as it would pretty much destroy the back story most of my current characters are based on (and that of several characters I would like to introduce in the future), I can however make very clear that he is not a Cytheran God.

I have no intention of writing any conflict between the forces of my continuity and the Death King’s forces, or even any interaction. The tavern is a flowing story where many smaller stories from many different writers meet harmoniously in the world of Cythera, I’m sure there is more than enough room to fit my back story without putting a dent in the overarching plot you have with the Death King.

I’ll hop on irc, but if you aren’t on early you won’t catch me before the disconnect, so it would probably be better to converse through PM. Edit: On second thought, I'll get the ball rolling with a PM.

Hmm, I'd really love to post, but I have no character in the ball...I could do Selax reminiscing.

By the way, fast edit seems to be messing up parts of posts for some reason.

It's #cythera's fault! ^_~

Hehe, reminds me of what my friend said today. After I commented that she looked a bit damp (The sea has been reclaiming the land by air drop, and she had to walk home), she replied, "It's the water's fault!"
Probably you had to be there.

And the winner of the text only entry goes to CrazyChick for "Watch for B&B on bridge." Encountering the B&B anywhere is dangerous enough. Throwing a bridge into the recipe is an equation for disaster. - Ragashingo

Hey Kat, I like the way your post plays on the potential danger to the children hinted at in one of my earlier posts. Was that deliberate? :P

Hmm, I think that Selax is out of place at the moment, so I'll probably remove him and try out a new character.

How long do folks want this TS to go? I could wrap up the whole Sideline-Malis-threat thing pretty much anytime, but that wouldn't allow for anyone else to get involved with it. I could do it in small stages instead, which would allow room for everyone else. Remember, nothing is fixed, and I'll do my best to adapt to whatever's posted. Is there anything that anyone else wants to achieve before the end? (Yes or no answers, please, no details.)

So people ask for a ball and it turns into a children's playground session. :P

Ahhh Double Post

Question: Scribe + Cane = No dancing? For some reason I figured Scribe would be very good at the kind of dances performed at royal balls.

There was a little time issue with that first section too. Is it alright if I say that those events happened just before Led's post?

If I just performed several mistakes in quick succession I'll go back and revise the section ^^

You figured correctly. The cane is a 'theatrical prop', for want of a better term. He doesn't really need it.

Two things:
1. If this is the Malis from the game (in which he was full-grown) and this (like other TSs) is assumed to happen about 15 years after the game, how was Malis a child four years before the TS?

2. I'm not certain that Retsy is a child, although she's 453's character so one would have to ask her.

I was just guessing, based on comments from those who actually did the research on the pair of them. I'm beginning to think I should have stayed with my original thought, and invented whole new characters - it's not like anyone else has actually used them, after all.

Ok, I really want Rythan to be aware that Sideline has gone missing, however I wasn't sure how to do that in my post without grabbing control of Kwon for a bit, and I wasn't comfortable with that since I don't think I can portray him accurately yet.

I did move Scribe a little, but I made sure to include Arson so that I wouldn't disrupt whatever Selax might want to do.

Anyway, if I think of something before someone elses posts I will edit that in, though I believe the ending I have for the post is pretty good.

I agree. That's a good twist at the end, there. :P

With regard to Sideline, yes, others are allowed to notice he's gone, yes, others can join in the hunt, but just don't find him yet. OK?

I have actually read the whole TS now. So one of these days or nights, I'm going to be adding something to it. I just have to get to that point.

I'm probably going to do a short post at the moment. I'd hoped to do one longer, but, alas, I have little time.

Please, no one disturb the talk between Rapierian and Propontis (at least don't let Rapierian get caught if you have to).
