Don't mind me, I'm just enjoying a good read in the TS. Sorry for the long absence, I've been a bit busy and I bought a Wii with the new Zelda, extra time to write was non-existant for a while there.

I'm back...ish... so maybe I'll get a post up soon, *shrug*

I suggest that someone find a way to quickly remove the group from the maze. Maybe the maze is just a large illusion?

Nah, too corny - but I do have a way out in case no-one else thinks of anything.

Hmm, I think that you might want to go ahead and use your idea due to the current slowness of TS activity.

I would, but Jehezekel just blocked it. :P We'll have to come up with something else.

In case anyone was wondering what I was thinking of doing, I was going to drop Retsy into the lava - at which point Sideline would have realised there was a teleporter above the surface, and dived in after her. That would have been the ultimate teleporter, sending them where they needed to go.

It's kind of curious how different people visualised the scene. I visualised it with the lava at the same level as the maze, or just below, and the girls hanging from the stalactites at the ceiling of the cave, while Jehezekel visualised the whole thing as being beneath the floor. I suppose he thought they must have fallen through a trapdoor, when they really got sent there by the teleporter they blundered through in Crazy's post.

I visualised it pretty much the same as you did, cache, except that the lava was a long way below.
Maybe there could be an illusionary wall or something, that someone accidentally discovers by bashing their head agaisnt.

Nobody said they climbed up, (because they hadn't) so, like Silverfish, my thoughts remained on the horizontal plain.
Funny, I usually think more vertically than my friends...

Tally time! How many of the party are feeling like failures at this time?

I supose i should read the ts now just to see if a premature return of Talryn would be helpful and might get the ts going again. THat is if you need that help. From what i can tell of Silver's post above, it sounds like the TS has hit a wall.

Let me know if a "guest appearance" of Talryn would be helpful.

Well, I'm at a bit of a loss, at the moment. Selax, could you please deal with this artifact, and then maybe someone else will be able to think of something.

If you want, I could PM you the thoughts that I have had on the end of the TS.

I've had some ideas, but it seems to me the only thing left is the final battle (i.e. the major fight in this TS).

Wow, I've been gone for a long while, but. . . not really that much has happened. ;) I think I'll try to get a battle post in tonight; hopefully, this battle will revive interest. I also have to think of something for Sécundus. :P

*sigh* I wasn't able to get a post up this weekend :P ,BUT I have done a lot of brainstorming (the longest part of my posts anyways). I know what I want to write. It's not very much, so I'm hoping to find a little bit of time to type it up tomorrow. Don't worry, though; this TS isn't going to die if I have my way. . .

I won't let it die, don't worry. If no-one posts before Thursday, I will.

I'm with Crazy, I pictured them hanging from stalacites on the ceiling with a massive drop beneath them leading to the lava. I -was- going to post an escape too, but I never got to finish writing it.

I was going to to have Sideline look at the situation for a minute, ask Silverfish to make some rope, and then ask Rythan for help. Ryth would have looked around, and then when he realized the plan he would have turned to Sideline and said something like "You are a brave brave man." (two braves, not a typo). Anyway, it would have involved Rythan and Sideline using a two stage rope and pulley system where they literally used each other as counter weights, Rythan diving towards the lava to raise Sideline to the women, then hooking into the wall using his blades so that Sideline could attempt a death defying swing over the lava to drop the girls to safety on solid ground.

It would have taken two trips to get everyone, and at the end of the second I wanted the stone being used as a pulley to shatter, causing Sideline to fall, and then as Rythan tries to stop his momentum the wall he is gripping gives way partially, leaving them both falling to the lava. I hadn't figured who was going to save them, I was thinking a group effort guy the guys and the women who had just been saved, but I became distracted before I could resolve it and have been pretty busy since.

*Inhale*

Actually I'm posting more to let everyone know I didn't die since, from what I gather from the IRC, everyone already assumed I was no longer among the living. I'm still pretty busy, but I'll try getting a post in.

I plan to post today. In fact, I could, in theory, finish the TS today, but I doubt that I will.

However, would it be acceptable to finish the TS on Friday, perhaps?

I'd like to post a little more, but I'm so overworked at the moment that my imagination seems to have fizzled. I'll try to come up with something tonight, once I've read Selax's latest.

So, any ideas on an ominous plotline for the next story? Perhaps something triggered by a desire for revenge gone wrong from either the demon or the lich?

Here's a question:

Do all of the TS's interconnect as a massive ever evolving storyline, or are many of them independent side stories?

I ask because I may have a few ideas for a future TS, though none of them directly connect with the current chain of events.
