As always, if i've misused your character in any way, just say the word, and I'll try to fix it.

i see this as happening soon after Sideline makes his comment.

These are my demands: go to the second Stronghold and steal both the artifact and the spell-book with it. I will then turn her over to you at a place to be arranged on your success.
Apparently, he just wants to see us get killed in the attempt to retrieve the items, or expects to steal them from us, when he returns Katherine. :P

Greek? ;) The last time I remember using that was in 'The Hand of Fate', and only for a couple of organisation names.

it was a reference to your devotion to Cythera (didn't we establish that the Cytherans would speak something similar to Greek?) and also a pun on 'it's all Greek to me'. i would have said Russian in reference to your latest TS post, but i didn't think anyone would get it. congrats, you officially ruined the humour ;)

off topic, but it seems like the best place to post it where everyone will actually -look-. i've kept this relatively on the downlow, but i just released my first chron since Hand of Fate (which was over four years ago- exciting news, no?) it can be found here.

you would have my eternal thanks for reading it and providing feedback (praise, constructive critism, complaints, hate mail, death threats), as if it's considered any good and i decide it can stand alone as a story, i might consider submitting it somewhere for publication. this is all just speculation though; people are probably going to expect a lot higher quality from me now that i'm older, and i have a feeling the spliced-up timelines might draw the ire of some readers. ^^

I also suggest that you read Kat's Chron.

I left the action in my post open for every other character so that any writers (or all of you) could write the action in for your characters yourselves.

I'm not sure about you guys but I personally like writing the "action" for my characters.

Dusk

In your last post you mention that they still need to look for the three remaining party members, but they were all found in my post right before yours.

Cat was the only one overtly mentioned, since she was pictured in the fight scene (which sprang from CCs suggestion that Cat might jump out at the group).

Starfell and Kerran were found by Katerei, when she followed their scents to their cells. I don't specifically mention what state they are in, but I implied they were still unconscious and Sideline did actually say that Katerei had found them.

In any case I'm sorry for being so vague about that in the post. Another bit that is worth mentioning is that the secret passage (the one with all those undead and the Lich) leads all the way back to the path the group didn't take in the beginning (Alice killed a skeleton that happened to be on patrol that way and the group decided to head in the other direction instead). That information was revealed in Rythan's talk with Rapierian, who knows the stronghold's layout exceedingly well.

Umm I don't think I missed anything else. Though I will probably list Katherine's amulet (technically it's now Katerei's) in the custom weapons and items thread.

Posts from me will be a bit sparse over the weekend. I hope to get a small one in later tonight, mainly to try and describe the new weapons Brianna and Sideline grabbed from the chest. (Things have been moving a bit too quickly for me to squeeze that in. :P )

You know what is kind of funny? The TS discussion topic is longer than the TS itself.
And the winner of the text only entry goes to CrazyChick for "Watch for B&B on bridge." Encountering the B&B anywhere is dangerous enough. Throwing a bridge into the recipe is an equation for disaster. - Ragashingo

That's to keep the TS concise, so that we don't have OoC's longer than the posts.

On a similar tangent, why didn't anyone post after me! I expect there to be at least one other post in a 24 hour period! @_@

As I posted earlier, I'm a bit too tied up this weekend to post anything significant. As for RagnarOk, he's been posting so heroically that I don't think we can begrudge him a day or two off. :P

I heard a rumour that DF's posts took up 2/3s of the page. Do we raise Ragnar0k to that sort of notoriety?

I've heard these same rumors myself, and I believe them true. I don't think I myself have hit that mark yet, but I suppose I could crank it up a bit, the TS is still going strong. I worry about making my posts too large, because I want you guys to be able to make choices and guide the story's course as well, I don't want to be greedy and just take over.

As far as my break is concerned... I'm doing another Chron called "Blood Ties", dealing with Rythan's origins. Speaking of Rythan, I also just finished a sketch of him, it's not spectacular, but I'm very happy about it.

I finally posted again! And, Rythan, I have the same problem with posting large posts. I get caught up in a web of description and dialogue and nearly make every post a page-long, verbose fiasco.

Edit: I have now uploaded basic info on Sécundus. More to come in time.

In case you're wondering about it...

The answer is: Because the plot doesn't include Silver getting beat into fish-paste! ;p

Why doesn't the scylla crush Silver?
Because it can't squeeze that tightly, it's tentacles are too big and thick-skinned.

Then why doesn't it just throw him against the wall?
Because it still hopes to drown him, and doesn't realise that it is getting papercuts yet.

Those scylla are as dumb as the sith!
That is not a question! Please refer to "The answer is:"

Sigh*

I have to erase my whole post now and start from scratch :P

I'm not sure when I'm going to be able to finish the new one, as I was almost done with this one before I read the latest post. I'll try to figure something out before this afternoon I guess, if not maybe I can write something by tonight.

IMPORTANT

After my post I realized that the group as a whole has not had real down time since the TS started. We have several characters injured, with Adrian, Brianna, and Silverfish all likely to be pretty fatigued, and the next battles are supposed to be much harder. The characters need a break.

I propose that camp should be made in the valley just outside of Tavara's stonghold for the night and maybe for the next night as well (we're talking TS time) It would be nice if no one magically fast forwards through that time, as it could be better used for good character developement and interaction (something that has happened scarcley so far).

Katerei would be writing the post, so please don't usher the TS forward till then.

Double post ().o

Read my last post or face the wrath of SPOILERS

You have been warned.

**

**

I'd like to kindly ask that no one write anything about Rythan's trip back to Akheron. Anyone can have a character follow him over there, just please nothing past getting into the first stronghold. My post was going to be longer (about double the size) but I really like where I left it off. I will wrap up Rythan's trip in my very next post.

Could someone please post a save with a party strong enough to storm the strongholds? I want to review their layouts, and it would take too long to build up enough strength to do it in a new game. Slayer's guide, annoyingly, doesn't have maps for them.
