The collapse of the Tavern has given me a vague idea for a new TS, is anyone game? I've only got the beginning and general premise, so it'd be a wide-open, anything-goes-unless-it-contradicts-an-earlier-post kind of affair.

I'm in if you'll have me, I just need to post another character. Heh, I didn't realize TS time would come so quickly.

I don't think it was meant to, but with this idea we'd have to 'strike while the iron is hot', so to speak. :P

I'm fine with starting a TS whenever there are enough people to do so, although I doubt that I'll be able to join immediately or participate much for the next week or two (school).

Is it possible to join part-time; so that I can have something to contribute to #cythera discussions, but I won't have to fail all my classes from writing all day instead of doing homework? @_@
I'll become even more undignified than this

Yeah, just do what i did... go as long as you can without posting, and then only give in when you get pressured to do so. :P

Sure, why not another TS... if you give me a moment or so, I'll be happy to get to a point in Talryn's chron where he takes a break from his training to join in :P

My post record is terrible: I get all enthusiastic at the start of a TS then lose interest, or get busy or something... but if you'll have me back, I'd be more than happy to give it another try. I miss this webboard.

Are we still sticking to the anything goes plan here?

I'd like to jump in, but I've not been in a TS before so I wouldn't want to screw up so early.

Well, I didn't go quite as far as I intended with the setup, so don't go too far just yet. If you read up the topics I linked you'll have some idea what's coming. Just don't go past the portal, that's where the rest of the setup needs to happen. After that, it's open slather.

Alright, I'll start writing something, presumably to bring my characters into the TS, though it'll likely be a bit shorter than what I've written thus far. I'll get started now.

Are you going to do the intro's second half tonight, or will you wait till a bit later?

I'll wait until morning, my time, I think (about 12 hours from now), to give anyone else a chance to jump in early.

That sounds like a good idea.

In other news, the post was not so short as I'd thought originally.

Do you want to deal with that before they get to the portal? I can deal with it after then, if you'd rather.

Is venturing down the shaft itself off limits right now? I'd had no intentions of entering the portal yet, but I decided to cut out a section of my last post which had Rythan making his way down.

The shaft is fair game, up until the portal.

Then I'll have the post extended very shortly :P

Edit: What started as a mere paragraphs extention of a previous post ended up as a segment that was longer than the post it was intended to augment, so I decided to just make it a new post.

EDIT: By the way, welcome back, dusk.

About the Demon at the bottom of the hole:

Is it still there or did it travel through the portal?

If it does remain did it starve to death (it has been quite some time since he fell in)?

And finally, if it is alive, can I assume the beast will be hostile to any and all of the people it sees?

I kind of have a demon slayer half way down the hole already...

I'll leave you and Selax to work most of that out. I gather from his post that it's still in the shaft, which is good, because if it had gone through the portal it would either have to be dead, or have been sent somewhere different to where our group is going.

The demons of Cythera are actually a type of magical-energy-golem, so no, it wouldn't starve.

Well, technically, the daemon was summoned by the DK, so it might have slightly different properties and abilities.
