I am by no means new, but I thought I would reintroduce myself for those who do not know me, as it's been a while since I've done anything significant.

Hello, I'm Mr. Somebody.

I would talk about my characters, but I was reading back over them the other day, and I realized that I have no desire to use any of the characters again, so eventually I'll come up with new ones.

I say eventually, because it will be quite some time until I am free enough to do a TS. However, I hope to get back into Chron writing, because that is good and fun, and I don't have to have terribly well established characters.

At any rate, I'm Mr. Somebody. Hello.

Oh ho, yes and your graphics changed. why the swith to the pixle-ie axe. the recycling colors were cool. I would likie to join said TS, but an not sure how to generate a character. Are we talking a fictional, or based on characters we have actually had. I think the back-from-break crowd will arrive soon.

PS: why is magic so expensive, like deathstrike~ more than 20?

Fictional, but someone you'd like to write about. Preferably not too over the top, but with an interesting/original/novel quirk (e.g. Sideline: a rogue that won't steal; Selax: an extra-Cytheran elemental; the Scribe: an elf old enough to have wrinkles; Alice: a boy with a girl's name, and a pet ghost; Mort: dead, and hating it). Best place to start is in the Tavern thread. Not much story there, just a lot (hopefully) of interaction with which to define your character and bring it to life. I still have a couple of characters in there, but pretty much everyone else is involved in the current TS.

A good place to get an overview of what a TS character should be like, is the Character Info thread. When you are "done" creating your character, add it to the thread!

The current TS seems to be entering into the "home stretch," and I don't know how often people are allowed to join at almost the end. Personally, however, I'm fine with your joining the current TS if you wish to do so, and I would hazard that most of the other participants would be fine with it as well. Feel free to jump in (though I suggest you do so soon) or to create a character and have him wait at the Tavern. :P

The George Washington quote? I don't exactly remember. I ran across it somewhere, as this year I began my extensive study of American politics, and I remember seeing that quote and finding it hilarious, as George Washington is not normally regarded as a vulgar figure.

The Axe is actually my official logo. The other colors were just things I was playing around with before. Those were, believe it or not, at one point, "G"s.

I did that on my first TS. :P But hey, I'm not the best example.

On that note, do we need a new, concise set of pinned instructions on running Cythera in Sheepshaver?

If you were a newbie, wouldn't you be scared by all the TS- and #cythera-ish topics? It takes a while to get into all that, I think all potential newbies run scared @_@

Awww! Spoilsport!
Come to think of it, how did I survive when I was a newbie? All those big moderators and so forth deigning to talk to a grasshopper like me! I nearly fainted when Selax first agreed with me.
