Did you like my horrific exploding fireball? It was me who started it, even though I didn't finish it!

Weeellll...

There's an idea I've been developing that I was planning to do as a blip-chron, but Moonshadow suggested it might work as a TS. I'm not sure it would, but I'm open to suggestions. Don't know if it's worth doing, yet - depends a lot on Moonshadow remembering to check her PMs again. B)

I wouldn't want to ruin your story, but if that's not likely to happen then... I'll trust your decision to be what you think is good!

Pretty pretty please with sprinkles and a cherry on top? I'll be good for a year if you start a Ts!

It'll probably be better than the only idea that I have managed to come up with so far, which isa TS concerning Tavara and his strongholds to the North.

The only risk with starting a TS now is that most of its members will disappear around the holidays and not really return, something which occurred the TS before last. (I'm not sure if this is a regular problem, however.)

After the last TS (Ruffian Encampment), I had thought that we might have to wait until sometime in mid-January because of the risks of losing people around the holidays or when school starts back; I have since found that some people (at least myself, I'm not sure about others) have school resuming in mid-January (although I'd be fine with starting then anyway). It also seems that there are now a lot more members around then there had been at the time I thought this, so starting a TS over Christmas Break is possible if there are enough people interested in participating.

Out of curiosity, are you planning on joining the next TS?

By the way, to anyone new, I don't always post this much, but I have just returned from a week of not being able to post because of finals. During this week, there was a large number of posts and thus I have a lot to respond to. (Since I'm on Christmas Break now, I'll be able to temporarily return to the posting level that I had before school started, which means that I'll be able post more than just at the end of the week.)

Maybe we should try to come up with a simple idea for a short TS, sort of a 'TS for beginners'?

I think that was actually the idea behind Ruffian Encampment, wasn't it? Of course, it did work well enough to be worth doing again...

I'm on holiday too now! I'm going away, but not over christmas, in mid-january. I post the same amount no matter what day it is.
I have a sort of idea, concerning something like the sword of heroes, so PM me if you're interested. My character won't be able to start it, and I don't want another character yet, so I need someone to start it off.

Maybe those with possible ideas for the next TS could get on Irc to discuss them and discuss which one (or ones) to use?

I don't go on IRC. At least, I don't think I do. I don't even know what it means.

IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat, but what it means I'm not sure. It can be compared to IM, but is more... um... elite!

There's a brief talk about irc and how to get on it in the pinned #cythera topic at the top of the page.

If there enough people interested in starting a TS, when would you all like to start it? (We must come up with at least a basic idea by whatever time that is.)

Sometime before I explode would be good. :P As I explained further up the page, I have a sort of idea that can be expanded.

Personally, I'm willing to go along with whatever is started. I'd be willing to start yours, Crazychick, (although I'd like to know a little more about it first, if that is not inconvenient—you could PM me the general idea of it if that is alright with you) and whether or not cache is planning to use his idea for a TS. Is it possible that some of the ideas for a story could be combined into one story?

At this point I'd say no, since I still haven't heard back from Moonshadow about how her characters would be involved. There are also a lot of potential problems with it, not least of which is it involves the Ronin. Those characters are really too overdeveloped for a TS, except in cameos or in very unusual circumstances. So if anyone else has an idea, go ahead - I'll try to stay involved, but I'll be away for two weeks over christmas/new years. I will have internet access, but it's dialup. *shudder*

Hey sorry I haven't posted anything for a while, exams eat up time like a hungry clock.

I've been reading all the various posts about TSs and they sound really interesting, I'd like to be part of one sometime (if that's okay). Trouble is I don't know if I would be able to post regularly enough to maintain a part in a storyline, at least not at the moment ... I have work (saving up for university), and I'm going on holiday with my family. And also I haven't thought up a character as yet. Perhaps I could just observe this TS, and join in a later one? I'm not sure when I'll be free, but ... I'll think of something.

Okay, I got a PM from Crazychick, but, before I start anything, I wish to know who all is interested in joining and who will be able to post over the holidays (I fear that if everyone disappears over the holidays they will not really return, which was the case for the Witch Hunt TS).

So far I have as confirmed joining (I might have missed someone):

Selax
Wizard
Crazychick
cache22 (who may not be able to be very involved, at least not over the holidays)
