Do you mean that you're proud it's partly my idea, or that you want to join?

I think that he means he wants to join (please correct me if I am wrong, Jehezekel)...

So my list now goes:

Selax
Wizard
Crazychick
cache22 (who may not be able to be very involved, at least not over the holidays)
Jehezekel

I'd like at least one or two more people, so this will have a better chance of surviving the holidays.

Hey, the 'chick' has a capital 'C'! Get it right! :P
I won't be here from the 18th to the 28th of January, but I will try to post during those dates. If I can't, I will PM someone with what I would like to happen, and they can take control of my character for the duration. Or she could just vanish for a bit. Who knows? I will return, though. The Cythera Web-boards are my life! (cue dramatic chord)

I'm beginning to doubt that a TS can be successfully started at the moment. I've not yet received word from several of the people posting in the Tavern about whether or not they will be joining, at least a few people seem to be going to be gone over the holidays, and I'm down to four people confirmed as joining. Of course, TSs can succeed with this few people if they post often enough, but at least one of these people will be gone over a time in January and at least one will be less able to post over the holidays. This almost could push us back to February before we can start a TS...

My list now goes:

Selax
Wizard (who may or may not join)
CrazyChick
cache22 (who may not be able to be very involved, at least not over the holidays)
Jehezekel

To get more interest, maybe you should start a new topic entiltled "New TS: Who wants to join?" or something. And put a smiley or something next to it so it's easier to see.

200th post!!!!

It's getting so close to Christmas, now, that I think this ought to be deferred for about a week.

We should start it on Christmas day. Then we could call it the Ultimate Christmas Present! Or, better still, Boxing Day, because then it could be my Birthday TS!
Anyway, what day is Christmas where everyone comes from? Round here, it's Tuesday. I think...

I'm only interested in joining the TS if it could actually benefit from another person. So what I'm saying is, put me on the list if you want to, or not if you don't @_@
I'll become even more undignified than this

Well, personally, I'd prefer to have you join, but, in the end, it is really up to you if you want to join or not.

Out of curiosity, to all participants in Ruffian Encampment, what did you think of the last TS? (That is, was it enjoyable, boring, tiring, etc.)

Also, perhaps, discussions concerning TSs should be shifted to one of the more TS-related topics on the board because that is not really the purpose of this topic as I recall.

Do I count as a new member? I post so much, I already have more posts than some of the veterans!

I suppose that'd depend on how new member is defined: time that one has been here, number of posts that one has, etc.

I'd say CrazyChick is a Pseudo-Veteran New Member. I on the other hand am a Non-Veteran Member, Selax is a Lesser Veteran Member, and cache22 is a Veteran Member.

By the time the next TS is over I expect CrazyChick to be a Lesser Veteran Member.

How's that for a complex hierarchy! :P

At the rate I'm going, I should be a Grand High Supreme Super Veteran Member this time next year. 220+ posts in 86 days! That's almost 3 posts a day! So in 365 days I shoul have *small pause as I get my calculator out* over 1310 posts.

... On second thought, nah. Even though cats are spiff.

Errr.. *dusts off Veteran badge* welcome new members!

Hmm, considering his number of posts, what would that make Avatara?

I'd say Avatara is an Exalted Veteran Moderator.

Actually, to attain that level, you would have to write about 23 complete Chronicles, participate in 42 TSs, and be able to competently use as many characters as cache22 has.

It involves a mix of number of posts and amount of time on the boards, (most notably this particular board :P )

I can do the characters, am waiting for the TSs and when I have finished writing my book I'll have a go at the Chronicles. I just haven't started a new character yet because I want one deep one, not loads of fairly deep ones.

I might start another one in the new TS, though. Someone who's good with missile weapons.

Because we got side-tracked and started talking about the TSs.
I just had a look at the Ruffian Encampment TS, and I would say it is a masterpiece. It might be good to turn it into a comic strip or something... Pity I can't draw.
