Pretty nifty little site to commemorate the moon landing. I especially like the intensely high-resolution imagery they have when you zoom in all the way; I've never seen such a detailed picture of the moon.

Hmm. Where was Apollo 13 supposed to land?

Thanks for the clarification. Endless years of debate and mind-wrenching statistical analyses and argumentation has been put to rest.

Well, people used to think the moon had oceans...and the names they gave the areas they thought were oceans stuck.

I've been meaning to read Jules Verne's De la Terra à la Lune in the original French for quite some time. Unfortunately, I'm lazy and I'm not that good at reading French. One day I may figure out more than that the 'Gun-club' (yes, that's au français) intended to shoot people to the moon.

Sounds fun. Launch me at the moon! Who else was reminded of that wallace and grommit one where they went to the moon for cheese?

Grand Day Out. Personally, I thought the other two were better (I'd go with Close Shave for favourite of the three). We'll have to wait and see if the were-rabbit measures up to their standard.

Our dog is actually named Gromit... and is being deskunked at the moment.

I have only seen Grand Day Out, so I wouldn't know. But I did think that it was a good movie.

Well, hardly a movie. The original three were just half-hour shorts. It'll be interesting to see how they translate them into a full-length movie... I wasn't terribly impressed by Chicken Run.

Chicken Run was a really strange movie. I think whoever made it was high.

The people who made wallace and grommit made chicken run. I remember A Close Shave, that one was the good one. I don't think i will count the were-rabbit as a series in them though, cause it is going to be a feature length film. not a short. well whatever, i think it will end up kinda sucking.

I'm sort of anticipating it to peter out halfway through... not to say that it won't be amusing. It'll probably be twice as amusing as one of the shorts - just four times as long. That's not nearly as efficient a time:fun ratio.

Time:Fun ratios are very important in today's movie. Most of them suck. Other's are good. The new one will probably be a 2 hour:A little fun, and suck.
