I think you might look like a friend of my roommate's... but I only met her once, for about ten seconds, so I'm not confident about that.

It's all relative. Compare all humans to my trash can, and all humans look the same. Compare Shaq to Pamela Anderson, and you say they look nothing alike.

If the third object of comparison is, say, a star, then yes.

So, you mean comparing Jackie Chan and a Platypus to Brad Pitt?

That was a bit of dumb response (not up to your usual excelent standard) Jackie Chan is a star (in that sense).

I can't exactly say "compared Jackie Chan to himself".

Thats why my argument is that it was an inherently stupid statement (or pun if you prefer).

It was based off of inherently stupid material.

An artist is only as good as the materials he has to work with.

Ergo, if Azzy was to magically reappear and paint one of his usual picture with a gold leaf suspension on a sheet of platinum, it would likely be among the best pieces of art in existance. Much better than any of that crap that's just simple paint on canvas. :P

Well if that was true, why are so many of americas "starving artists" such good artists. I hate that term "starving artist". It's such crap. Our art teacher at our school calls himself one, but he works at a school, sells his paintings, works with artown getting paid for the work he does. he get's plenty of payments, and stills cays he's starving. by the look of his stomach i don't think he's close to starving.
