YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!! I just got an iPod!!!!! I am very happy right now!!!

It came with 805 songs already on it. I can't store that many on my computer. It's quite scary.

This is sort of OT, but is there any way to manage the 800+ songs that you have on there? I was considering getting an iPod, but I've been wondering if I could just put all of my songs on there and then delete the originals on my computer.

You can, via iTunes. Make sure you turn off auto-updating, then copy all your music files over - and you're free to delete them. Be warned, however, with the standard Apple software you can only copy music to your iPod from your computer, you cannot copy music from your iPod to your computer. So you'd have to reimport all those songs if you ever wanted to give your iPod a fresh start, or have them on your computer again.

that's gonna cause a problem....none of these songs are in iTunes...any way that I can move them? I have iTunes 2. I want backup.
