Or maybe I was dissing USA in my twisted little mind of mine, you never know.
I think USA is a great place, just some of the inhabitants suck.
now viewed with moonunit4eva eyes:
Argh he's dissing USA again, see USA is made of people and he thinks they suck so he thinks USA sucks.

Maybe you could try to make well-reasoned arguments against their assertions, instead of telling them to shut up. It would make you seem much more intelligent, though that's never been much of an issue to you.

People wouldn't be bashing the US if there was nothing wrong with it. Bush is doing a very bad job in Iraq. The red cross is withdrawing because he can't control the many guerilla units there, and attacks are much too common. The Bush Administration had no plan for withdrawal, or a distinct plan for when the war was "over". Now they are too proud to ask the UN for help. I can only hope the rest of the American people see this, and we elect a competent president come 2004.

Maybe you should explain what makes the US so great. It won't be hard if you're right.

The USA itself is great. The cocept behind it, the freedom, and opportunity is great. What is awful is the current administration.

I think Carinae is discussing the death of coral reefs across the Pacific Ocean due to the process known as "coral bleaching". It's pretty awful stuff, actually - if you've seen Finding Nemo, you'll know what a colourful place coral reefs are when alive. When they die, the pigments go, the fish go, and you get these bleached white structures littering the ocean floor, a lot like bones...

And yes, it is a pollution problem which causes it.
