I just made the top of the credit list, and tomorrow I'm going to have more than 600Kcr - that's a *bad* thing, even if you don't consider that I'm going to end up only 2 jumps away from Narsil.
Since I'll probably lose the credits before I can do any good with them, I'd like to make the contribution as soon as possible. Tomorrow morning, I'll be able to contribute 500K, and everyone else would only have to contribute 125K. Does this sound good? If so, I'll email CheesEv when I have the credits.
I'm counting on:

125K - Patrick, Avatara (Trojen), Jager, Sargatanus

Ship edited to 30T - although I think it would probably be better to reduce it to 0 space and add an extra Neutron Blaster (which is 30T). That way, escorts will have their full potential used, rather than having a useless 30T. If we want to use the space for something else, it's easy to sell off the blaster.
Now that Patrick is on the Most Wealth spot, we might want to accelerate the Colony Ship to today - 300K from me, 400K from Patrick, 100K each from Sarg, Avatara, and Jager.
Now awaiting confirmation from Patrick, Avatara, and Jager.

Hey folks, I just wanted to let you know that we really arent 100% ready to get new governments started.. We have a number of problems to deal with regarding "excessive pirating" (as you can tell here), it may be clear that the LN is not as "secure" as we would LIKE it to be.. And in the case that your new government WERE created, it would be in extreme danger from these pirate attacks until we have implemented our further security fleets for the new players in the LN zone, and perhaps expanded the universe [allowing more places to hide, plus people won't always be 1 to 2 turns away, easy to kill].
As much as I am a fan of multiplayer games, a few players have taken extreme advantage of this and therefore it is unlikely that the game can be fun for others.. So .... the game just started a week ago and we are making a lot of new updates but both me and CheesEv have started school so we are fairly busy..... but hang on.. hopefully soon the game will be a little more safer and we will also encounter less bugs and therefore have more time to implement new stuff.. like colonization =)

Well, the "LN isn't safe" revelation is partially thanks to *my* being pirated. However, CheesEv said he deducted 500K from our accounts - meaning we'll be significantly safer while we're waiting.
According to CheesEv, the new governments won't be possible before the weekend.

I was thinking that we could maybe adopt one of our old planetarion tactics for this game, i.e. everyone donates a portion of their money to one player until they can get themselves established (buy a decent ship, hire escorts for bulk missions.trading, etc.) This, in theory at least, should raise the bar for everyone faster than if we all had to make it on our own.
