Any advise for a rooky player? It's a little different than playing EV.

First, get yourself a scoutship and modify the hell out of it (surprisingly cheap). Then get 4 runabot escorts and run a bulk mission, or several smaller ones. You should be able to do this with your initial 300k.

Well, in on a bulk mission. I'm not sure if it was wise to take it but...
How long between turns? 24 hours or?

The turns are 20 hours exactly. Under ship command it tells you how long you have before you can launch again.

Since bulk missions are in short supply these days, I recommend you look for multiple missions with common starting or ending points, especially those for which you don't need to land to complete. Once you build up more capital, you can try to exploit the trade routes, although this is less profitable. Note that you should get rid of escorts you don't need to save cash. This is less important later on, though.

UE Admiral: If you'd like to align yourself with us, we can give you access to the Unset forums. It seems like you're leaning in that direction anyway, but I wouldn't want to hand the password to you until it was official.

Consider it official. I just want to figure things out before i start playing government. I'll need a week or so to get in the groove of it. Not to mention, i dont want to skip out on the membership fee. Posted Image

Every time you land, you ship is refueled. If you are stranded in a system without a planet, you can send me a message through the Hideout ( send to CheesEv ) asking for some fuel. I usually can get you some fuel by later that day.

Hey, I'm not sure If you guys still read this, but I would just like to thank you so far for not attacking our colony ship. Obviously this may change but I am hoping it doesn't. I know I cuased a bit of a problem earlier by killing trojen, and I am sorry.
I am not sure if this has changed but in your smacklist thread discussion took place about the consortium, which I find rather interesting as they seem to wish to pick a fight with us as well.
I would like to assure you we are not a puppet government with anyone, though the NA has expressed they would like to stay neutral at least.
So to sum up my post, thanks for not killing us Posted Image

STILL Lord Demonthenes but my other account is screwd.

Yeah, I still read it from time to time. As I understand it, we've sorta stabalized relations with the Consortium (since we've smacked most of the consortium guys on the smacklist without incident).

There were two brief periods when it seemed we might go to war with the Consortium (once a few weeks ago, and once yesterday), but I don't believe that will actually happen in the near future.

sigmadude seems like a decent individual, and a pretty decent leader, too bad the rest of the consortium act like a bunch of pirates. I feel I see more independant traders go down to consortium loose cannons than pirates themselves.

Yeah, but that's because Voklov is so partial to UNSET space dust.
