Only nerds ate in the cafeteria.

It's my theory that it's impossible for scrambled eggs to be too hot to eat. Discuss.

The cafeteria at school was always a semi-frightening place. Most of the ROTC people hung out there.. along with the kids who played Magic all lunch.

My roommate is in ROTC AF. He's cool.

As for the cafeterias at my school, they suck.

You've clearly never had scrambled eggs that are too hot to eat (of course, that's sorta' by definition there).

So... I guess the description of it being like "the cafeteria at an asylum" was incorrect, correct?

I've never had duck. I like duck sauce, though, and anything that duck sauce is designed to be put on is probably good.

I don't eat duck, but when ever my brother does and is about to take a bite I yell "QUACK!" or alternately "IMMA MALLARD!" I've almost had duck thrown in my face. But it was worth it.

Heh. If you saw the group I was with when I had it, you probably wouldn't be yelling that out (think more along the lines of Sureño gang members than good ol' boys). :P

I went on a bayou tour in New Orleans...but we couldn't understand the guide. But he waved his arms a lot and liked to talk about "dem gaters."

The comma after "It's" is unneeded, smartass.

Also:
* The period goes inside the quotation marks.

* It is "dem gaters." If it were "dem 'gaters" Creole would merely be an English sub-dialect as the apostrophe implies the deliberate shortening of the word "alligators". However, Cajun so happens to be a mixture of French and English, making it a "pidgin language" in which "gater" is a word.
