Sponge, that was an unnecessary out burst. I was just trying to restore peace. I was trying to maintain some peace and avoid humiliating you by publicly reprimanding you. You leave me no choice but to punish you. Respect your elders boy. Frankly it saddens me that you offended by a simple peaceful gesture of diplomacy. I suggest you work on your attitude.

Thanks to Rickton and Pufer who told him a thing-or-two and to Moony for offering her physical prowess.

Wait, you weren't trying to get into the argument?

So if I understand correctly, ATT is somewhere between B&B and what I thought ATT was?

It's like the BnB with a smaller, closer crew that doesn't pay much attention to being on topic. That's not to say that we're necessarily off topic though. Think of the BnB as a bar where various conversations are going on amongst various groups of people who are all generally friendly with one another, and this place more like a bunch of friends meeting up in someone's living room. A certain amount of rowdiness is expected in a bar, but if you go too far there's always the bouncer waiting to bum rush you out the door. The living room is less formal and is self-policed for the most part, with only sporatic intervention from some guy who spends most of his time in Australia. There's still a code of conduct though, even amongst friends.

So... I guess the description of it being like "the cafeteria at an asylum" was incorrect, correct?

Pufer, I think your analogies are very apt, but I especially liked this bit about ATT. That is exactly how I think of it. :P

The cafeteria at school was always a semi-frightening place. Most of the ROTC people hung out there.. along with the kids who played Magic all lunch.

Orgasm stairs are much more fun :P

And it's just so.. geeky. I mean - I'm sure the game's fun - but the kids that played it at school were just invariably odd.

I went into my high school cafeteria exactly twice. Once because my 10th grade spanish class was evacuated there after a gas leak, and once because I was forced to bring a salad to an Orchestra pot luck (that time consisted of me bringing in a bag of salad, dropping it on a table, and immediately turning around and leaving after making sure that the teacher saw me there). I'm not real sure who ate there (if anybody) as I never ended up there during lunch.

Hmm. Sounds like the making for an odd line for propositioning someone. "Wouldst thou allow me to assist you to the top of the orgasm stairs, madam? I give you my solemn vow that I shall not leave you along the way."
