Are you joking? I was at a release (I didn't get a book but my friends did...the only reason I was there is 'cause I was at a party nearby that got busted so I went with them) and it was no problem.
Then like two days later I was in a store and saw shelves and shelves of them.
Is it just that nobody in Atlanta likes Harry Potter?

There's stacks and stacks of them at the grocery store by me. I wish they'd get rid of them, and bring back that extra DVD stand.

When I say "I spent 15 minutes fighting people off' I mean at the party I was at. I bought it from a local supermarket. Walked in and out again in about a minute. No waiting, was good timing on my behalf. When I got it back to the party, people saw it and decided they wanted to fight it off me.

I refused to leave the house or turn on the computer until I had finished. Though now, I realize I would've been just fine.

I just stayed in bed for the day, did the trick :P

Yeah yeah yeah, we get the point. Change the track already! Everyone likes Harry Potter here, so go post in the B&B about hating it. It's getting old.

Hey now, Rickton's the one calling for a book burning. I just like a good fire so I support his choice.

David Copperfield has absolutely no redeeming value. Burn that.

David Copperfield absolutely rocks. My favorite Dickens novel right after A Christmas Carol.

I was physically unable to read past page 150 or so of Tale of Two Cities, so I'm rather hesitant to try any more Dickens.

Bah. I guess it was because I had to read it in 8th grade. Maybe reading it again sometime outside of school it might be better.

I'm back.
Three weeks without internet will really throw you for a loop.

I read the book the Saturday after the release, and promptly started rereading the whole series. Finished that later that week. Then spent ~2 weeks in Florida, swimming every day.

Now I shall procede to bounce about the boards.

I'm now working my way back through the books.

Just finished Philosophers Stone in two sittings. It's surprising how much it's got, and how enjoyable it is compared to the other books, size wise. Now halfway through the Chamber Of Secrets, also enjoying it very much!

I don't think Darklurker will be very happy that Mispeled took over his Lair.
