I managed to snag one despite having no preorder. Thank you, Moony!
Anyway, off to read.

Its like what happens when you cross a phoenix with a super black hole; it's powerful enough to destroy itself, only to be reborn in a vicious cycle of torment and pain. Or in this case, nonsense.

Dude, imagine Redline Trash Talk; the unholy spawn of B&B and ATT.

Woke up Saturday afternoon, and read the whole thing in one sitting.
Was really good, but not for the faint hearted! It is very very sad, lots of death and depression from very early on. To be honest, not sure where she got the whole 'Two characters die' bit from. So prepare yourself for heartache.
I cried, and have no shame in admitting it! Several times, truth be told.
Slight spoiler follows:

Amazing book.. I simply couldn't put it down. And even though it was much darker and, as Veccy puts it, depressing.. it is still my favorite so far. The ending was wonderful. Although, I'd like to hear some opinions on the epilogue. WARNING: SPOILERS!
Favorite quote that I immediately remember:

I thought there was more of a parallel between Harry and Ginny to James and Lily.
How so?
She has said in an interview over here that she wouldn't be against doing some more books in a few years. She was extremely upset with the thought of never writing one again, I thought.

I would be okay with a "Lily, Snape, Lupin, James, etc." book or two. It'd be fun to know more about them. But I can hardly imagine it taking off like the other stories. It'd be sort of like Lyra's Oxford and His Dark Materials.

Overall, I found Deathly Hallows very disappointing. Not as bad as Order of the Phoenix, but probably the next worst. And I'm not just being a Negative Nancy here. I loved the sixth book. It ended with powerful bleak suspense, but DH simply fizzled.

I wish one of the Big Three had actually died. Personally, I was rooting for Ron to get himself killed. I've never liked the whole Hermione-Ron thing. In my mind, it was always Harry-Hermione.
Oh, and please...... the Death Stick? Can there be a worse name for a wand?
but those are just details, I still loved the book.
