I concur, everyone should play Brawl, and possibly Halo 3. In the meantime I'm sticking with Geometry Wars and continuing my weekly beatdowns in Melee against my friends.

AGREED. WoW was Blizzard EOLing the entire Warcraft franchise. We'll never see a WC4 now.
I hope not, for the above reasons. At least I can hold out for Starcraft 2 coming... someday...

WC4... that could be cool...
/me wants

Actually, WC2 and WC1, with the original units true to their balances (don't add heros and keep the storylines, the Dragons and Deathknights are part of what makes WC2 so awesome!) made on the WC3 engnie would be better. Especially if they keep the Cleric hack on Level 4 of WC1.

It's not gonna happen though, at least not for many many years when they stop making expansion packs for WoW and their subscribers have all quit.

Yeah, they're fixed in the beta, they were fixed in the beta version weeks before the patch went live, but the fix didn't make it into the actual patch, so now we run around looking...weird.

I'm loving Dragon's Breath and Molten Fury right now.

What server are you guys on? I'm on Aerie Peak.

Honestly, I'm not looking forward to the expansion at all.
25 man raids will suck, it will suck to have to play with shaman, and it will suck to go through Naxx at level 70.

So this topic was originally on what we should do about WoW, now it's just a lot of people talking about their characters. Go figure.

I'm mainly alliance on Maelstrom (human mage as a main), have some horde alts on other servers in battlegroup 8 (Shadowburn now? they should've kept the numbers) - you can pick them out by the orange RPPvP flag.

I'm not sure what to think about 25 man raids yet, it does mean I get to play with fewer friends of my class, but it might mean less "come on guys, we need three more people for Naxx" days. Playing with Shaman might be neat, (playing with shaman on the alliance loot tables now is not) its another "wait and see" thing.

Naxx will only suck at level 70 if they don't set the Naxx bosses at a fixed level (like 63). Right now they'll dynamically scale to be your level +3 for combat calculations, so it only gets harder, but I'm hoping they fix that. I've only been up to the Twin Emps in AQ40 and downed Raz in Naxx, it'd be nice to see the rest of those instances (even at 70), especially after all the months of working up to them.

Holy Priests are one of the few specs I haven't been following closely (my priest is discipline), how bad did they get hit? I know you lost downranking and decursive, and I hear your 41 point talent is too mana hungry, but did something else happen?

I do know a lot of the non-prot warriors aren't happy (but all of my guild's paladins and druids are ecstatic).

Holy Priests, unfortunately, got very little. A few extra healing talents, a slight buff to Spirit of Redemption so you don't have to die for it to be useful, and a 41-pt talent which heals for a pittance and is very mana-hungry. The problem is that Holy has been the weakest tree since the inception of talents, and it's simply falling further and further behind. Combined with the fact that Holy Priests are already sacrificing personal progress in 3/4 game areas (Group/Solo PvP, Solo PvE) in order to help others progress in one (Group PvE), there's just no real future for Holy Priests as there is even for, say, Resto Druids.

Meh, I could write an essay. As it is, I've stopped playing WoW for the moment and am focusing on more fun matters. Like term papers! And finals!

Ah, I forgot to mention, my name is Magina on Aerie Peak. If you played DotA you should recognize the name.

I recoginize it; Magina is the Anti-Mage...he looks suspiciously like a Demon Hunter.

Although I don't have much experience with DotA, those games in particular are way fun.

Anyone play snipers on starcraft? Back in the day I used to own it...

Snipers on Starcraft is a use-map-settings game of capture-the-flag.
