Some would say that Ares has been dead since OSX, with the nail in the coffin the switch to Intel.

This all belongs on the Ambrosia Banter board where you would get a wider variety of eyes. They may have even given the answers there (I haven't checked.)

Actually my brother liked Ares, and after I played it, I thought it was kind of nice too...

Got the music too. Targetron was my favorite (and is) song for awhile.

Even though I didn't play it for very long (less than 2 weeks) I did get some excitment from pulling off some curiously interesting moves....:P

(Multiplayer was cool too)

I'd still play it some if it didn't lag uncontrollably for no reason. Can't figure out why it does that, since I have no problems with other games like that.

What will fix that are transparent emulation layers similar to Classic that let legacy programs function correctly. But unlikely to happen...

Why is this on Trash Talk?

Don't wonder. Learn to write SDL, read resource forks, and PICTs.

Oh, and before you ask, there is only colorkeying for transparency-no masking.
