I use my windoze laptop with Basilisk II to play Ares and EV now. It's nice, though I need my extended keyboard to play Ares.

Rule 1 of Linux kernels: keep your old one handy. Failure to comply will likely result in anything from a broken feature to an unbootable system.
Its like what happens when you cross a phoenix with a super black hole; it's powerful enough to destroy itself, only to be reborn in a vicious cycle of torment and pain. Or in this case, nonsense.

*Shipping and handling not included. Dedicated Ares Box may exhibit a passing resemblance to a PowerMac 7500, but any such resemblance is entirely incidental. Ares license code not included.

Actually send David an email at help@AmbrosiaSW.com he will have a version of Ares that should be more playable under Classic.
So if you do that I'm assuming you can get it. However, as I said in that topic, it will not run on Intel Macs.

That's the post I linked to, where I first heard about it. My question is, how well? Has anyone played that version?
