**thinks about coming back out and saying "I told you biconditionals were possible," but thinks better of it and doesn't say that to Slug.
They aren't, but a similar effect can be achieved with counters and alter condition Yets.

How do I make asteroid shooters already have plenty of asteroids in existance when the level starts?
It's not the object that does that. Just put the asteroid shooters in the level and increase the start time on the level. You know where you put misc info for the level such as par, etc, there's a field called start time. Give it a good healthy number such as 240.

Is there a way to display a timer that ticks down at the top of the screen?
No, but there is a way to make a timer that ticks down at the bottom. Just set a condition for the game time to display messages. Hint, the time tick rate is twenty a second.
Oh, and Eminem, stop posting in this topic.

I'm considering it, but the only format at my disposal is Simpletext.
Hi there! Being in the publishing business, I could probably turn your Simple Text Manual version into a miracle in Quark XPress, and then into a pdf document, readable by all (thanks to those wonderful people at Adobe!). The current manual is, shall we say somewhat lacking in printability, not to mention readability...

Ta da! (there's a thing like that in StarLance except that it's a planet-to-planet Nuclear Missile, supposed to decimate the planet so you can send colony ships to colonize it)

By the way, tree, Geocities is a good one to use because they have an excellent file manager.

Slug, where's your new site?

Except for the annoying ad. When my family subscribed to @home cable, we got 10 free megs of web space. There was a time when Apple was giving out 20, and we got that too. Now only if I was allowed to use it...

Try taking off the exclamation point. Which sounds more serious:
