Hey, I am working on a total conversion and the UCC (Uninted Corperate Council) are going to have an astro miner, but I can't figure out how to get it to get money when it picks up the astroid debre, how would I go about doing this?

What I did in The Rogue was to have hidden power stations, with a sprite of invisible. When you got a certain amount of pieces, one of the power stations would unhide. I'd be interested in finding out how you can actually do it, though.

I wonder where Zerwar got the idea to make up a quote from his plugin.....

Alter the collide sequence of the asteroid fragment so it changes the amount of resources a player has

How would that work for both players? And wouldn't shooting it cause it to change the resources?

Depends on what type of cruise missile you want. If you want a warping one, good luck. However, if you want a missile, much like the standard C missile that has a longer range and human control, I can send you a copy of one I made.

You'd have to give it a very long expiration time. You can do that, but when the warp flare is bigger than the missile.....

What would go wrong? I've given EVATs superlight boosters before, and it worked well...

I tried to get the astrominer to work, but the asteroids dosen't give any resources, can you give me more information on how to get the astrominer to function properly?

HELP!!!!!!! Hera wont Import any sprites not even the tutorial ones their all 8 bit ares
color table and their placed propperly!!!!

Is it possable to import EV sprites?

you know by using the scale entry in hera you COULD make the warp flare smaller

Slug is it possible to make the cloak in ares better so you cant see the ship on the radar and your friends dont shot at th cloaked ship.

Yes, just make it so it changes the ship's object type. That new object immediately cloaks and has the engage flags set so nothing attacks it, also deactivate the SHOWS UP ON RADAR flag. Make all of it's weapons, when activated, change it back to the origional object type.

well do this: make a diff warp in/out flare smaller and then make the warp drive diff for the missle so its directly like the warp drive on other ships 'cept it has the smaller warp flare create sequence.

I just noticed what you typed(im not sure if thats a nice thing or not). But i have a question this time. Ive been working relly hard at hera and can do more that theorize now. Im trying to have 6 frieghters land at a planet and do that "score thingy" so when 3 of them land, you win. But after they land instead of adding one to my score ares just quits. How do u do that score thingy anyways.

set the expire sequence for the freighter so it adds one to a certain score
Then in the Scenario conditions, set a condition so if that score is 3, you win
