I thing these attacks should be on it as well:
09/30: deffdood Destroys MrMellow
09/30: Beef Destroys Madaya
10/04: Volkov Destroys MrMellow

Madaya and MrMellow aren't part of our core group of members, but they deserve the same treatment as we do. Plus we get to smack Beef and Volkov an extra time each.

I guess I should make a list of non-Ares members...

I think he thinks you don't play Ares because you are a mod.

Hi, this is Beef.. I was thinking.. I know you guys are working on expanding to planets so you aren't really well equipped to deliver all those smackings that you mentioned above.. Since I am an independent pirate, I could work for you guys, hunting down some of the other ppl on your list, on the condition that I got removed from your smack list myself.. Also I would have another request.. that you could protect me from Graves, or even add him to your list if I proved myself loyal after delivering a few smackings. Well, let me know..

Actually, he 'recruited' me, both for the Hideout and UNSET (I'm Madaya) - does that make me a traitor, too?

Very interesting proposition. I'm tired right now, and I don't actually have much authority, so I can't give you an answer.

Sounds good to me, and I'm in a position to accept.

We cannot take any action that would lead to Graves getting killed, for obvious political reasons. However, in the event that you are killed, we can provide you with additional insurance of around 400K so that you may rebuild quickly.

It's a list, that describes who we want to smack, and how many times.

I had already figured that privateering would be our best option for the smacklist. So your offer works rather nicely - and is accepted.

i just got into a combat worthy ship again so i will start hunting for some ppl on your smack list.. also i noticed that danman just smacked on wedge today, wow..

Here's something relevant:
16:31 10/06/02
DanMan Destroys Wedge.

18:55 10/06/02
colin Destroys Cadet.

Graves is president of the NA, if we accept Beef's offer (which does seem good) that will affect our stance of neutrality. Just another thing we have to consider...

Well, we can always destroy the evidence.

Besides, the only thing we're recruiting him for is the destruction of the people on the smacklist. We're not giving him 400K to help him kill Graves, we're giving him 400K so he can rebuild after he gets killed by Graves. (Of course, it would be cheaper for us if Graves agreed not to kill Beef...)

We can always drop him from this policy if he commits any sort of offense anyway - I think such offenses would include attacking UNSET members, and major violations of UNSET neutrality. However, I don't think he'll be in a position to attack Graves for a long time, and that's the only major violation I can think of.

Shall I post a thing in the hideout about the smacklist, with a link to here?

I don't think that will be necessary. Besides, we discuss some moderately sensative material here that we don't need all of the Hideout peering in at.

That was a strange battle. Wedge was in a scout with a mass expansion, 600k, and a skill of 20. He wasn't using the mass expansion for anything, oddly. So, thanks to his lack of weaponry, I've got over a million credits now Posted Image

By the way, if we make deals with pirates (ie. Beef), will the LN not like us?

In terms of the Hideout Universe, the LN doesn't know that we've made a deal with a pirate. If it becomes obvious, then we might be in trouble, but we can always cover our tracks.
