Count me in! The fireworks will be good, if nothing else.
**It occurs to some people that no-one has ever seen Sundered Angel's ship, if he even has one. Hmmm...**
Another D'sB please barkeep.

"Oh man! I feel like I've been out for days! Sooo... did I miss anything?"
*Looks down at feet, only to find 2 sabbacc chips fall to the floor from his belly.*
"I thought you guys heard me!!! No using me as a sabbacc table!!!"
*Watches as Admiral Sargatanus and Sundered Angel walk out the door.*
"Hey, where you guys going? Can I come too?"
*Notices heaps of bodies lying all around him.*
"Why do I get a strange feeling that Darkk was involved in this?"

Oh well, there's time for worrying later. Besides, I still haven't tested all the gizmos my R&D team has cooked up. Anyone interested? Four new weapons, a new cloaking device, better sensors, and an experimental drive? All of which are designed for heavy cruisers and all ships smaller? But only one item per ship.
*Glances at Xwarp, Mag Steelglass and Bob Fett*

Anyway, the drive is called the Slipstream Momentum Fluctuation Device (SMFD) it manipulates the shields of your ship to tug at the solar winds around your ship, as well as bending the space around your ship for outstanding maneuverability. We have fixed similar devices on the capital ships (carriers and larger) in my primary fleet. It has given them agility that can almost match a cruiser. However, they require a large power supply, which we took care of. What this prototype is for is testing a low power version for smaller ships, and if successful, we will develop a larger version for the capital ships.
Here *Hands Xwarp a small, strangely shaped object*
Install this in your ships computer interface circuit. It will regulate the ships shields and power systems to suit the device, as well as feed my R&D people the technical readouts. The device won't function without it.
So when you're finished, come back here and let me know if it has any strange physical effects: nausea, headaches, etc. And if it for some reason damages your ship beyond repair, I will give you a heavy gunship custom outfitted anyway you want.

Ooh, some new toys. I'm willing to test out those sensors for you. Who knows, they might even explode on me.
**Ponders whether that came out right.**
Well, better me than someone else.

Hah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah hah
Cicion, do you see what I see?
The Sals totaly overlooked something.....
Ok, they overlooked our specialty items.
The Nijayias fixed-location spacetime anomoly creator.
Want a dougnut instead, Sargatanus? Heh.
Me attacking with this would be a BIG diversion.
I'm having it loaded on a gateship-catagory hull now.
Dang does this thing need juice!!!
Picket vessles will pay for disabling my 8500 that I keep in my cabin.........

*To Mag* The Net suspects everything but usually acts on the most likely outcome, and seeing as how I still have access to level 5 information it's highly unlikely that it's fully caught on. And the Gaitori would not last in a fight, but they sure would surprise the hell out of the Sals, making them slightly more vulnerable.
*To Cicion* The infiltrator might work, but she'll have to do her homework, I was thinking something along the lines of psychic possession.
*To Darkk* Now where you come in is: Start hostilities again. I'll load transponders onto some practice ships, send the near the border, and you blast them. This way, the Oracular net would expect another war. Launch a widespread attack on all nearby Salrilian borders. That's the diversion.
*Back to Cicion* That's where you come in. The Net dosen't suspect a Phylidion attack, especially not on Salril. Since I'll be the closest, I'll be called upon to defend the system along with Trisar, who commands the 1st through 5th fleets. I should add, that he is the only Fleet Admiral who's fleet is larger than mine.
*Pauses*
Actually now that I think about it, the independant fleets (Mag, Sundered Angel, Boba Fett, LoneIgadzra, whoever else) could show up first and divert my fleet, while the Phylydion armada engages Trisar [pronounced Tree'sar]. The independants form up with my fleets, and we catch trisar with his pants down.
*finishes his drink*
This might actually work.

I think I've solved part of the problem.
We already attacked another Admiral's Fleet.
We also demonstrated some new weapons, such as the Nijayias fixed-location spacetime anomoly creator, which we loaded on an MTBS hull for extra power.
The ON should be worried. It thinks we have a thousand ships with it, thanks to our psychicly generated illusions.

…Wow… Well, that was easy, all we have to do now is wait.
Well, with that taken care of, I need something strong. You know how to make a red devil?

Cicion, here's something I picked up during my brief tenure as a spy.
I inserted a virus into the ON, and it's still there. These codes will let you have unlimited read-only access. Sorry, but we haven't been able to get write yet, but this is smart virus, and it's working on it.

I think you all should read the topic I just posted. It addresses an issue which has become readily appearent in "the bar".

Well, the ships are all gassed up, but I think I should points something out to all you Navy folks.
I studied with some Ishiman historians... the Salrilians have been an interstellar capable race for longer than anyone they know of. And the Ishimans know a lot. It's their job, I guess...
Anyways, back in '24, I was involved in escort duty along the Salrilian border, to one of the recently reopened Bazindanese trading posts, and they said, contrary to popualar beliefe, the salrilians actually have much more firepower than people think... it's just that their expeditionary force is small... and those bazindanese or whatever the hell they call themselves, they know their interspecies relations stuff (you gotta when you look like a furry bug,) and let me tell you, they are rip off artists! Robber barons even! Do you know how much it cost to get my Purgionic Hyperspace Agitation Unit repared? Almost more than I paid for the bloody thing in the first place. ANyways....
*Notices bar is empty and he's talking to no one except his crew, who are all looking around disinterested. Newt glances around, and then grabs the bar droid*
If this thing's half as good as Cicion at bartending, I'll be keeping him for a while. let's go, guys.
*Newt's small crew of grizzled Mercenaries leaves the bar, and boards the Red Dwarf. The small fleet enters hyperspace towards earth.*

Hmmm. I suggest all you people take a moment to read Sargantanus' announcement before the big battle, and my addendum. Anyway, see you there.
**Sundered then turns up on the Phylydion flagship. Noone's quite sure how he got there, but he makes himself at home and noone really minds.**
Well, I assume you've all read Sargantanus's announcement. Sargantanus, have you?
**Chuckles.**
Anyway, do go ahead, this battle looks interesting, even if it might be brief and rather one-sided.
