(continued from part six)
"Well then," Hector says, "I suppose we can just arrest the Comana boys now. It will be easy."
"No," Grapper says. "We must be careful. We cannot create a paradox. And they are still just children, anyway."
Hector says, "Well, we cannot just wait decades to get back to the future. How did we get here?"
"We went through that mirror. Hector, there is a reflecting pool out in front. Maybe we can return by jumping in it."
Grapper and Hector run out in front of the Kosha castle and jump in the reflecting pool. The water goes up to their knees but they aren't time-traveling or anything. Then they hear a click and the bottom of the pool starts to descend. The guards rush outside and Grapper and Hector stand back to back fighting them off easily while the water level rises. Once the water covers their heads, a new floor slides in above them and they are dumped out onto a waterslide. Hector says, "Wheee!"
When they reach the bottom, they find themselves inside a brightly-lit cavern. The walls are gilded with gold and everything in the cavern is also gold, especially a golden statue of a demon standing on a pedestal in the middle of the room. Then, the statue starts to move!
