(continued from part one)
Grapper is confused. He says to Hector, "I do not understand. We are not in Cythera?"
"No," Hector says. "We are in a desert. That is why we are riding camels."
"Oh," says Grapper. "That makes sense. I have many camels."
Grapper and Hector ride for six hours in the desert. There are many camels. There are no ruffians. Grapper is sad because there are no ruffians to kill but he is happy because the ruffians are no more. Night falls and it begins to get cold so they set up camp. Grapper says, "Hector, will you tell me a bedtime story?"
Hector says, "OK. Once upon a time there was a great hero. First he slew many bandits, then he slew their leader. It was good."
"Hector," Grapper says. "Is this story about me?"
"Yes, you have caught me. It is a story about you. You are a great hero."
But Grapper was already asleep.
