I'd like to point out that Wizard's post puts the timeline around 10:45 p.m., so when you post take into account how many people would be running around at that time of night.

Hmm, quite a few posts seem to have gotten in while I was posting...

Just some post reordering.

I see that there has been no post in the TS for a whole week, and since most subplots have been tied up, I'm hoping that we can push the story itself to a satisfactory end. I guess that the main reason most people aren't posting right now is because nobody is quite sure what to do.

Well, I have a proposal:

The current plot is to have the group find Roderick's three corrupt lieutenants, capture them and take them before Lindus. A brief interrogation under the watchful eye of Lindus' ascertainment, and the charges against Lord Malis will be dropped. The story will most likely end there, unless someone wants to tie up their other plots at that time. As I mentioned elsewhere, I think the assassin/Rapierian plot is to be picked up in a later TS.

So, now that Kat and Av have finished their mad rampage, I think it's safe to say that all we're waiting on are some helpless, corrupt guards to come walking by. Rather than waiting on them, though, let's step it up a little bit.

These are the names of Roderick's three lieutenants. Each one of them is corrupt and has betrayed his master. The group's mission is now to find and catch them. They may not be able to bring them all alive, but they'll certainly try. They only need one or two, anyway.

So here's the challenge for you. Write a post about our group of heroes finding one of these guards. You may kill him, have a long fight scene, or just have him run into a wall. Or something. Do whatever you want, I just want everybody to be able to put in a post that will bring the TS to a stop. This way, each guy is captured in a unique and (hopefully) interesting way. I just want to see who will pick a name and do something with it. I only need two people who will do this. I can write one of them, too.

First come, first serve—not that I believe everybody is going to rush to post. I'll be lucky if anybody takes interest over the next month. . . And remember, we need one to survive.

At the moment, I'm more interested in Avatara and Katerei's fate, than in catching the guards.

I leave home for a few days and look what happens, I've had a character ejected from the story. It was quite a bit out of character, but I really can't blame you after I disappeared. The trick now would be bringing him back, simple

A few days? You mean months?

You aren't ejected, you went off on your own and are free to join up with any other group or person you see fit. Or, you can even come back and do a "I told you so".

I might post later today or tomorrow; I might wait until after Ragnar0k posts.

Now that I've finished my bout in the Tavern against Rapierian, I'm free to arrive at Pnyx and...complicate matters.

w00t! half-long post, and stuff! If something doesn't make sense, blame the lack of proper sleep. Yours or mine, I'm not picky.
Anyway, happy to edit within reason, mostly if something needs clarifying! But for now, goodnight!

I'm going to try and get a post up, but I don't know how useful it will be.

EDIT: I decided to go ahead and edit my post to remove Scourge. Although his reappearance has a reasoning behind it to bring back the character now would only slow the TS more, I think.

Now taking bets on how long until a "something came up" post occurs. My bid is in at seven months.

I don't know where everyone went, but I know that I have been waiting for any progress at all, of which there has been none. Each is waiting on the other, who is waiting for the resolution to a loose subplot started by somebody who had not even been active lately.

Well, there's something so you don't have to double-post ^_~

The party in the hallway appears to be like so: They are all barricaded behind tables, chairs, an odd tree, and a ladder.
Avatara, Katerei, and Silver- Sleeping to various degrees, all with health out of the green.
Enna and Retsy- psychologically torturing a mouse which used to be a corrupt guard.
Wolfie- Enna's Familiar, acting like a Familiar.
Jehezekel- Trying to keep the sleepers safe, and the girls out of trouble.

Something came up...

Actually, I did start work on this post over a week ago, but I hadn't yet mustered the willpower to finish it. Now that it's done, I would say that the TS For Whom the Bell Tolls is basically ended. I got together those that were free and tried to wrap up the corrupt guard storyline, free Malis, and I thought that the funeral end would be a nice twist.

I can't think of anything else in the direct story that needed completion. I left Avatara's condition on a mysterious note so that you can do whatever you want with it.

All that leave's is Rythan's and Cache's subplot. If one or both of them comes on soon, they ought to be able to finish that plot in one post and join the rest of the group if they like.

All in all, I'd say we did pretty well for starting a whole TS without any sort of plan, taking it from the ball to the assassinations to Malis' arrest to blaming the guards and freeing Malis. The other subplots don't really pose a problem at this point, but it would be nice if anyone wanted to wrap them up.

The TS is still open. I'm perfectly willing to edit my last post, people may want to go back and edit out their OoC comments or whatever they want, and most importantly, please feel free to write your own final post to tell what your chars are doing and where they are so that we can get a smooth transition back to the tavern. (I don't mean create another subplot based on what your character is doing, by the way. I just mean post briefly if there is something you wanted to explain or another plot that you wanted to end or some comment you want your character to make. Things like that.)

Thanks, Jehezekel, Wizard. I feared this TS had suffered an irreparable gridlock. Now, at least, we can recuperate until the time is ripe for another TS.

Oh, and I tied up a loose end of my own (actually, it is of Selax's making, but it seemed to have been left to me to resolve. For the moment, anyway).
