Avatara sat gloomily on his throne staring at a wall of monitors transmitting live feeds from each of the rooms below. Contrary to popular belief, being a tyrant wasn't everything. In fact, it was actually quite boring.

One of the smaller alarms went off, interrupting the monotonous silence. Glancing irritably at the blinking red light, he dismissed the warning as an obnoxious intrusion and turned it off. Seconds later, the alarm went off again. Avatara leaned in to read what the contraption was complaining about, then he read it again, his eyes widening. This time, he stood up and crossed the room to his desk, pulling out a cryptic black skeleton key. He turned to an obsidian dome sitting on top of a black pedestal in the corner of the room, and inserted the key. The dome split in half and fell to the floor, revealing a red telephone.

Avatara took in a deep breath and picked up the phone. "I need to deliver a message to the administrators, its urgent." Ignoring the squawky voice complaining on the other end, he continued, "Inform MagnusApollo that cache22 is one post away from hitting one thousand. Yes, I know, the doomsday device is dangerous, I don't care! Wipe out all the posts you have to, just clear his post count immediately!"

Wizard (called Wizzy by everyone on #cythera, although he refused to acknowledge that) was having an ordinary day. He and several other members had met in the Council Chamber to discuss various odds and ends.

Wizard had just gotten behind the podium and had been opening his mouth to speak, when the one of the doors to the room burst apart. Selax tumbled in and bounced to his feet, in time to slice an incoming blanket in half. 453 leapt into through the ruins of the door and swung a jacket at Selax. He blocked and counterattacked, knocking her back. She swung a tissue at him, which he managed to cut in half. The battle spread all over the Chamber, injuring or killing (although everyone knew someone would resurrect them later) those members too slow too get out of the way.

The two combatants seemed to be evenly matched, although both were inflicting considerable amounts of damage on each other and everything in the way.

At one point, 453 was between Selax and the stage. He let loose force lightning, and she dove out of the way. The lightning followed her as Selax turned. It fried the stage, the podium, the back-curtain, and Wizard. Finally, Selax stopped and charged again with his lightsaber. 453 blocked and the battle moved out into another one of the hallways...

Katerei looked up briefly when the heat from Selax's force lightning informed her that something was happening around her. (Instead of listening to the discussion, she had her headphones on and the volume cranked.) She watched until the combatants barreled out the door again, then shrugged and went back to drawing.

Jehezekel wonders what the noise is, and peeks out just in time to have his face smacked by a bolster. He quickly reacted by stuffing Selax into a pickle barrel, and rolling him down the stairs away from Nummy.

Baffled, Selax watched as Jehezekel, apparently dazed by a bolster hit to the face, grabbed Wizard, stuffed him in a barrel, and rolled him down the stairs. He shrugged and resumed his battle with 453.

"Thanks, Shorty!" 453 exclaims, hugging him. "Can I borrow your shoe? He'll be back; I need to hide."

Selax sneaked up behind 453 and tackled her as she grabbed Jehezekel's shoe. She threw it at Selax, and they both took off down the hallway, fighting all the way and leaving Jehezekel minus a shoe...

Jehezekel has a party all by himself. Only, he wished Nummy had taken BOTH shoes.

Crazy looked on in disbelief, then yelled, "LET'S PARTY!". She ran to Kat's room, heedless of the danger, and tried to nick her boom-box.

I've only been on Wikipedia once, and that was several years ago. I swore a solem oath never to visit it again.
