We may possibly have a new TS starting these holidays, but are delayed by lack of cast. If you are interested, please let Selax or I know, and we will update the list.
And the winner of the text only entry goes to CrazyChick for "Watch for B&B on bridge." Encountering the B&B anywhere is dangerous enough. Throwing a bridge into the recipe is an equation for disaster. - Ragashingo

My list now goes:
Selax
Wizard (who may or may not join)
CrazyChick (who isn't going to be very involved for one or two weeks in January)
cache22 (who may not be able to be very involved, at least not over the holidays)
Jehezekel
BreadWorldMercy453 (not actually confirmed, but here's hoping)

We really need a few more...

Mmm... I think I'll be able to join, but I can't make definite promises. RL has this way of being a bitch to me whenever I decide to join a TS. But I'll try.

I think I'll go out on a limb and say that I'm going to join. If anything comes up, though, I'll say so.

Oh, and could you PM me the plot outline, CrazyChick?

Yeah I should be in, possibly with a new character, (not sure if i like my old one)
although i may be a tad busy over the holidays.
and CrazyChick you should post the plot outline for all to see makes deciding if you want to join or not easier, and im a tad lazy myself :P
Cheers

I'd rather not see it, myself - I prefer to have things revealed in story fashion. Leaves more room for the imagination to run wild.

No! Absolutely not! Please, be as creative as you like! Oh, and I'm still waiting. :P

I'm sorry! I swear, it's Zelda's fault!! *points at Zelda hiding guiltily in a corner* Twilight Princess is just to good.. and I'm one of those people who HAVE to have all the extras. Oh, but I did read it already and have some thoughts on changes/improvements. I just have to compose them into mail/PM. :X

"Plot outlines are made to be disposed of"
What we need is not a plot outline, but a goal.

Say the goal is to give a magnificent bouquet to Alaric, courtesy the Cademian Florist Guild. With that we have a pretty good Idea what could and should not happen on the journey.

But a plot outline would say something like: On the first day(s) the party journeys to Catamarca, they are attacked along the way. While in Catamarca the bouquet is lost, eventually it is found floating in the ocean, one (or more) of the party members goes to retrive it, Scylla attack. The party continues toward Odemia, and is attacked along the way. One of the steeds/party members tries to eat the bouquet. In Odemia the bouquet is repaired by a local florist. Our brave adventurers journey on toward Landking Hall, They get caught in the middle of a stampeding titan herd. When they finally escape, they enter Landking Hall and present the bouquet with due apologies.

The plot outline leaves some room for creativity, (exactly how does all that work out?) But it leaves no room for coming to an understanding with ruffian welding Titans, and being shown the secret way to Landking Hall. Nor does it allow for avoiding Catamarca altogether, and heading up past the flax farm. Nor does it allow for Alaric to be on a hunting trip at Charax's house!

Sometimes the story just has to take a new route to survive, make sure that the goal is understood, and be prepared to change your outline.

That said, something a little stricter than the goal I wrote would be fine, and probably a good idea. (I'd better stop writing now, before I start absolutely blithering.)

I am going to put the plot outline in a spoiler so you don't have to see it if you don't want to. It's very basic, with loads of room for creativity. Selax has the acutal location of the item in question: I will see if I can get him to post it here.

For those of you that read it, what do you think? Is it worth writing as a TS?

Eeeexcellent. My old e-mail address is defunct, use cache22nz@gmail.com if you e-mail it rather than PM. I might not see it straight away, though, as I'm not checking e-mail regularly while on holiday.

As soon as possible. We have *small pause as I go up the page to count* 9 people joining in, with a few away for some weeks. I think that's enough - I am fine to start this year.

That'd be fine for me, I think. Things here look like they're going to stay pretty quiet for a while, so I should be able to keep checking in once every day or two.

I generally check twice or more a day, but never less than once. A lot can happen in twelve hours!

I can't start it - We'll have to ask Selax or someone who has read the plotline.

I'm more than willing to start the TS any time. The only thing that would make me hesitant to start one today is that many people have already seen the proposed date and might be mildly annoyed if I start earlier than the date they expect.

EDIT: I went ahead and posted a lead-in to the TS, and I'll probably start the TS tomorrow.
