It doesn't do anything special, it's just another way to display a text, mainly used for codes and things which were printed out of programmes.

(Btw: This isn't new. :P )

Hey, you can adjust the size of the post text window thingy in Fast Reply now! (big big small big small small big big big small...)

And there are options in Fast Reply as well.

I noticed the changes over my time away from the boards and was thus unable to really experiment with them until today; is it me or did they get rid of the ability to tell on which board the majority of a member's posts have been?

Both this topic and the preceding ATT testing post were done on Safari.

Looks like they did, I can't find it anywhere.

Yeah, but Firefox only gives you one line, and cuts off the text part way.

I guess this means we all need to write a minimum of five lines when using that feature.

It's just you, unless it's just me. You go to a person's profile, and on the left hand side there's this little box saying something like: Total Posts: XXXX Top Place of Posting: (Topic Name) XXXX (percentage of total posts). At least, when I last looked, that happened.

I still can't find it, which brings to mind another question. Does anyone else get the "search flood control" error on their first search when they try looking up other member's posts or topics?

You are dead right about the first, but I haven't had the second and I just tried.

I move that we ban this feature. One can loose a lot of time waiting for some message to pop-up when there is no message there... :P

Nope. I rarely have trouble with the flood control.

They no longer have the text saying what % of posts this person has in this board, as in the board one has posted the most in.
Also the content thing is interesting, it appears to have loaded posts by default because i haven't modified that yet and it has some posts up there already.

Kinda interesting...

Edit: woot, 373 posts :P

In the Tavern, we should change the OoC posts to spoiler blanking. Then you don't have to read them. There might be a flaw in my plan though.... If you spot it, do tell me!

Wouldn't that make them stand out even more? I mean, skimming posts and suddenly you see a big blob of black lines. I was going to suggest using acronyms where you hide your message in the popup over a word like "OoC" or something, but they might not be big enough and its not that intuitive.

I think the current method of having people edit them out when the story/tavern is over is fine.

You could put OoC* To Selax:
Spoiler
*BiC

And, Avatara, the only reason why the OoC posts bug me is because I can read them and I sort of 'fall out' of the story, especially with long OoC posts that I have to read to know when they finish. Putting them in black would make the demarcation line more obvious.
