It rained here today also. But normal rain, not fire-and-brimstone. I'm more likely to get blizzards of 1-pound snowflakes.

We had some nice drizzle this morning, but then by the time I was ready to go home the drops had turned large enough that you could tell how cold outside it was. I always roll up the sleeves on my sweatshirt, too, so by the time I was home, everything below my elbows happened to be freezing cold.

How about blinding rain that means you have to slow down to 20 mph to see three seconds in front of the nose of your car?

It rained here today, but it was that cold, soaking rain that's only fun when youre not in it.

It's nice to sit on your front porch and watch it, smell it, and snuggle up in a sweatshirt to.

That's what happened 2 and a half weeks ago around here. Tropical storm force winds, quarter sized hail stones, my black cat-

Uh oh...

I get blinding snowstorms here, but they make you slow down to 20km/h, not 2 fps. My eyes don't have an easily measurable framerate.
Yesterday the frisbee team had to play a tournament in pouring rain.

Ultimate Frisbee is the poorest excuse for a sport since Pickleball.

Yes, they do. I think anything past 20 in a game is unnecessary, though 60 is smooth when your hardware can handle it.

I can notice the difference between 60-75 hz refresh rate, and 75-100, but not 80-100 or 75-80. 60hz refresh is horrible. It gives me a headache, all that on/off flipping. But yes, you don't really need more than 20fps, and 15 is still ok.

What is Pickleball?

It depends on the monitor. Some monitors flicker badly at 60 hz. Others are quite nice.

Here's Pickleball, which is God's punishment for all of mankind's follies.

Then, there's the amazingly awesome sport Tchoukball, which is God's gift to man.

Korfball is far worse than any other game.

No, something very likely exists with that name.

And it's raining again.
