I should have said that about my above two posts...

... too late now.

I just started a white load. Somebody had finished their wash cycle but didn't remove their load, so I moved it over to an open dryer. Also, a bottle of liquid detergent fell off of a vibrating washing machine and spilled on the floor. I don't think I was involved, but I may have been.

It was probably me. Just wanted to put that out there and get it off my chest.

Gah, laundry. I knew I'd forgotten something tonight. Oh well.

Incidentally, if anyone can post a proof that Larger(a,B) follows from 1. Larger(a,B) v Larger(a,c) and 2. Smaller(b,a) v !Larger(a,c), I'd be most appreciative. Analytic consequence is an allowable rule if you're using it on literals.

I typed up a lengthy response to help you out, but then I realized you're trying to foster a community that stays on topic and this is probably some kind of test of willpower, so I deleted it.

Anyway, time to go grab the laundry. (I hate centers that rely on quarters, the card swipers in the dorms made things so much easier - like replenishing the quarter supplies)

We have quarter-operations here. Feel lucky you have a swipey thing.

I don't this year. The dorms have them, but not other apartments you can rent from the university. Makes it a real pain to find $10 in quarters every month. Even more so that all the change machines are located relatively far away from the laundry centers, and only take $1 or $5 bills (so you can't get bulk quantities of quarters in one go).

My dorm has the swipey thing, and I agree to its superiority. Dude, come over, you can just use mine. I'll charge it to my account, and you can buy me Chinese food.

On another note, I just ran out of socks :P

Don't worry, I worked it out. An elegant 11-line proof (including subproofs) focusing on disjunction elimination. And I did it while doing my laundry tonight - crisp new sheets to collapse onto!

Basements here would flood regularly.

Like today. It rained a lot today.
