I am currently wearing a shirt that will cease to be clean because I'm about to change some oil.

The color load has successfully completed the wash cycle. Expect an update on drying and folding in approximately forty minutes.

I need to hang my laundry. The problem with going to my parents' to do laundry is that the returning-home-with-laundry-in-small-duffel-bag step messes with my laundry day rhythm something fierce. Also, I have no way of putting clothes in the dryer for just a few minutes to dewrinkle them. I wish I could buy a dime's worth of dryer time in my building's laundry room.

Some girl just threw a Halloween makeup crayon at me and it left a red dot on my Dungarees. I think I may be forced to wash my pants.

Grah, I went through half of school, then realized that my pants smelled really weird. And they were clean. Ugh.

I'm about to try to put Vista on a P3/500 system. I hope it finishes by morning.

You mean the uninstallation should finish by morning, once you realize running Vista on a P3 is like trying to pull an 8-ton trailer with a Mini-Cooper powered by a V4?

Actually, Vista will have to wait until tomorrow to install.

I wait until I'm down to my last pair of (relatively) clean socks (relatively clean meaning they don't induce the gag reflex) and I've been wearing the same soiled t-shirt for a week until I do laundry.

I also use the same philosophy with cleaning my room, I only do it when it smells horrible (then I call the mortuary) or I walk about three and a half feet above my carpet and I can't find my dog.

In retrospect, maybe that's the sort of thing I shouldn't publicize.

Yeah, what was the cliche about dirty laundry? I can't seem to remember the exact wording...

That was what I initially what I thought this topic was about. Which is why I was kind of disappointed when it turned out to just be about dirty laundry.

I don't know what I expected.

It didn't break my computer... it just froze the default browser as IE 7.

Laundry sucks. So many rules that you have to follow. Gah, I can't memorize them all.

Um. Take clothes off body, stuff in washer, add a little soap, set it to the most generic setting possible, press start, wait, move laundry to dryer, use generic settings again, press start, wait, pull out, wear. Yeah, pretty difficult. :P

I can imagine the conversations that would go on in that house...

"I'm gonna go do some laundry. Pass me that +5 fire sword."

"Okay. Want your plate steel armor too?"

"Yeah, it puts my armor rating to -3."

"Sweet. I'd like to see an ice dragon get through that."

"No kidding. Just to be sure, I'll cast Mordecaidan's Magical Watchdog so I can have some backup."

"Okay. If you're not back in five minutes I'll send down our cleric."

"Mmmm... Cleric..."

Wow, I'm a nerd. :P

No really. :P

Sigh. I caved...I have two loads of laundry in my building laundry machines right now, ridiculous cost notwithstanding. It's been two weeks since I last did laundry, and I have delicates and things that can't go in the dryer to do, and I couldn't face the thought of bringing it all to my parents' and back.

Time to go check the dryers, maybe pull out some of the delicate stuff.
