Also, I'm just curious if anyone has tried using Basilisk II to emulate Cythera on an Intel Mac?

You're welcome
I may post an expanded tutorial sometime including the links that I gave to Kickme. Basically, even if you don't have classic or an old Mac OS to install, you can still get Sheepshaver or Basilisk II running very well on System 7.5.3. Kme, you wouldn't happen to be running Leopard would you?

Excellent! Then I'm sure it will work well for me when I upgrade to 10.5
I would also like to post a link to an amazingly helpful site I found regarding Sheepshaver and Basilisk II:
http://www.alkemic.com/music/travis/Mac%20...acEmulator.html
I have to give the writer of that page a big thanks from me for his helpful starter images! If you scroll down, he's included a tutorial with pictures of the process as well. Really, though, you don't need a tutorial. Just download his MacStartupImage, scroll down and download one of the several ROM images he provides, and download an emulator. You won't have to deal with any installation stuff or classic applications or anything. The MacStartupImage is a disk image that is running system 7.5.5, and it boots up instantly in Basilisk II. I have not tried Sheepshaver with it, but under his Sheepshaver section, he will be adding an image including OS 9.
Using that page, I was able to download everything I needed (emulator and all) and get up and running in minutes with Basilisk II.

It appears to be some sort of problem with quickdraw acceleration being enabled. Disabling it seems to fix the problem.

Also on the E-Maculation forums, they have a new manual for setting up Sheepshaver with Mac OS X:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~ronaldpr/sheepshaver...pshaver_manual/
Selax actually found this, but he didn't post it.

Are you asking if you have to re-register? Because the answer to that would be no... But if that's not what you're asking, then I have no idea, *closed-teeth grin*.

You will have lost all saved games though, unless you saved those somewhere else.

However, thanks to Myrd from the Emaculation forums, the fade effects have been corrected. This means that Ferazel's Wand, EV:Nova, and Slithereens all run in SheepShaver now. An unintended effect is that Cythera's fade effects also work in the latest builds!
To download the latest builds, see the links near the bottom of the page on this Emaculation topic.
