Undine

I like this theory. But Sabinate insists that the corruptive water element must be neutralized with the earth mushroom thingie. So Omen's master would be completely Undine, but Tavara's such a mystery. . . And Ursylph rants about him, he must be important enough. . .

Tavara betrayed the undines though...Omen could be a renegade undine, that would explain why Pelagon impersonator can kill you. I think Tavara's human, but he completely fooled the undines, serving, then betraying and getting away with it. He might have gotten some kind of gift that gave him undine powers, which means he might be just as good as undine.
Tavara is I think one of the only mysteries of Cythera that can not be answered by Delver. Only gandreas can truly answer it, but that would never happen.

Sometimes I still wonder if the lich really is Tavara. I had a dream that I could swim, and I swam up the water in the cave beneath LandKing Hall, and found Tavara and a small city, which had "map" (along with the Omen guard) in it. Just a dream though.
That was a neat dream...
I have often wished that you could swim in the game.

Well, my point was that it would be more sensible to work on the fishing part first. But it would be cool to swim, but you couldn't go anywhere special because the map would just end.

I use food a lot, but swimming would be better to me. Food heals, swimming explores. Omen's ring gets rid of the need for food/sleep, but nothing gets rid of the need for exploration. Perhaps a boat would be more practical. Wood boat. Also, it's always possible there's some easter egg above the water that nobody (unless someone got delver) can see.

I think Pelagon impersonator, Tavara, or nobody are the best bets. What I mean by nobody is that Omen might not have a master. He very well could be just making it up. Maybe Omen is the master of House Comana...maybe Omen is Pelagon impersonator...no, if that was true, why would he kill you?

How about Omen is Slayer. Wait... That would make people think that I am Omen. Heh... Heh. How about Alaric is his master? Alaric really hates you, but you are the only one who can help him.

Of course! You are omen! Now the whole world makes sense ^_^
Seriously though, if omen's master is Alaric, everything we believed must be wrong o.0 It would mean that Alaric's essence was somehow in the Crolna, and he probably died right after Bellerophon went home. . . But it would also mean that Omen and Sabinate agree on something - they'd both want Alaric alive. But Sabinate would have to be wrong about the purification. . .
I still think that Omen's master is someone we never meant in the games. Villians are supposed to be unseen and mysterious ^_^
Anyway, I get enough speculation watching Lost and Blue's Clues, who brought thinking into video games? lol

You can probably eliminate someone unknown, but an unknown undine, Pelagon impersonator, Tavara, and nobody all remain good chances. Actually, an idea just popped into my head. Tavara got undine essence from the undines as a gift, but got it taken away when he betrayed the undines, and put into the crolna. Just a guess.
