Absolutely true, but from my perspective that is the only kind of meaningless...

If you get the "flood control" message once, press "back" and "refresh".

Don't go hitting "add reply" when you hit "back" and "refresh" until you see that you haven't posted.

I've never double posted in my ~3 years here; I use Safari.

If you get any kind of browser error, most likely you have, in fact, posted. A board error means you probably have not posted.

Safari has some weird quirks with the way it loads pages, so the gods have enlightened me and I've moved on to Shiira as well.

when i first started using firefox it barely worked, so i only used it for its download manager. (tidier) Now i have broadband it works fine except unlike IE it occassionally freezes causing double post on this forum.
I've found the trick it to refresh, find that your own post is in fact listed as a previous post and then NOT post it again.

Shiira does the same thing...but not as often. However, it doesn't have all the irritating things that Mac Firefox does. So, fishy browser for me.

I've figured it out. It was just 3 A.M. in the morning and I didn't have any patience. Anyway, I'll stick with firefox for now.
