Congratulations!
Where do they hold the NV All-State shin-dig? You get a trip to Vegas? Laughlin? Beautiful downtown Tonopah? CP-1 at NTS? Area 51? Drive to the middle of Nye County and look up?

That's what NPR is for. I don't listen to commercial radio mainly because my iTunes library is bigger than the selection most radio stations have.

I sometimes like NPR...Jazz Night especially...
Thank you Pufer!
I like the radio in the morning, I love listening to how dumb the dj's are..but if there's a commercial, I get out of bed and put in a CD, that's the only thing that will work as an alarm clock for me..becuase I hate commercials so much.
Thank you Pufer!

NPR=Car Talk baby!
I play clarinet, ever since 5th grade so.... 5 years.
I'm not very good owning to no private instruction, but I'm one of the top 2 in the band. Not sure if i'm top or second, haven't had a formal test. I'm better than the other guy in theory though.

On my way to work/school I'll listen to one of the local FM radio morning shows in the car (TJ Trout on 94 Rock, New Mexico's version of a "Shock Jock"). When driving to lunch I'll turn on 104.1 World Class Rock (quasi-independent radio station with no set genre, will play anything from Sinatra to Led Zeppelin to the Indigo Girls, huge variety) and will usually listen to it on the way home if it's one of the days I get off at 4:30 rather than 6:30. If it is one of my late nights, I'll usually want to relax on the drive home and, thus, have the CD-Changer loaded up with Sarah McLaughlin, Norah Jones, and Alison Krauss CD's to get me home. At the office I listen to my XM radio, usually on channel 75 (the station piped through the speakers at all the Starbucks around the world, lots of independant artists), but also spend time on channels 45 (XM Cafe, a variety of stuff, mostly from known artists), 95 (Luna, Latin jazz and beats), 112 (Vox!, all opera, all the time), and 113 (XM Pops, popular classical music).
